Capcom’s blockbuster is already attracted hundreds of thousands of people. And that’s just the open beta…
Unfortunately for Capcom, the release of the beta also brought the dataminers out of the woodwork, who were very keen to dive into the game’s files to see what they could. This is how we already have a fairly comprehensive list of returning monsters, as dataminers quickly found the internal ID numbers for them, which are the same across all games in the series.
Dataminers weren’t done there though, as even weeks on from the game’s beta, new details about Monster Hunter Wilds are still making their way onto social media. For example, a new datamine that recently took place has revealed various set of armor for both players and their Palicos, though they have been brutally stretched out into potato quality.

Monster Hunter Wilds Datamine Leaks New Armor Sets
First shared on the MonsterHunterLeaks subreddit by user Humble-Ant-3247, the first sets of armor to be revealed are from the Seregios, Lagiacrus, Nerscylla and Gypceros, with each piece displayed in order. The images are a little bit grainy, but it’s relatively easy to see all the larger details, giving us a first look at some of the armor from the game. Humble-Ant-3247 then shared a second post with even more armor, this time from the Odogaron, Blangonga, Black Flame and Rey Dau.
Next, a Reddit user called Background_Try_4536 managed to find and show off a whopping 24 sets of Palico armor that will be available in the game, though they’re of fairly rough quality again. However, we can see a little monkey armor set in there, which potentially hints at a crossover with Monster Hunter Outlanders, which was announced earlier this week. We can likely expect even more details to start coming out as dataminers dig deeper, so if you’re out to avoid spoilers, best keep your socials locked down for now.
Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a dynamic, living world with changing climates, along with the usual variety of giant monsters, weapons, and characters. A new mount, the Seikret, helps you get around more quickly and easily.
