Summary
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard fans have already put together a couple of Christmas mods, giving Solas and the Inquisitor a festive makeover.
- It’s unbelievably cursed, but “The Dread Wolf that stole Christmas” is one helluva way to celebrate the season.
Merry Christmas! Thedas is burning, the Veil is falling apart, and the Evanuris have returned to subjegate us. What a merry old time. And at the centre of it all is… an elf on a shelf on a Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
“The Dread Wolf that stole Christmas is HERE!” ilzkaal writes in their new festive mod, Fen’Harelidays. It puts Solas in a new red-and-green costume, perfect for the holidays.
Sure, it’s a little cursed, but The Veilguard came out on Halloween and plenty of us celebrated the spooky season in Minrathous, so what better way to celebrate Christmas than to do the same? If that’s what you have in mind, there’s another fun mod you can pick up, also from ilzkaal.
The Inquisitor Knows When You’re Sleeping. They Know When You’re Awake. They Know
They put together a Mrs. Claus mod that gives your Inquisitor a festive makeover in the same vein as Solas. If you choose to make him your Inquisitor’s romance, then it kind of becomes a matching couple’s costume.

There aren’t many other festive mods for The Veilguard yet, but if you want your Rook to join in on the fun, Jackdaw’s Armors is a good compromise. It recolours some of the sets, and one of the new palettes is red and green. It’s not strictly Christmas, but it’s a close start, and certainly helps match the Inquisitor and Solas.
