Brawl Stars is once again making changes to the Brawl Pass after increasing the F2P rewards this July. This update brings changes to both free and paid tracks, introduces new Keys and Vault, adjusts the Brawl Pass and Brawl Pass Plus price, and more. So, let’s dive in and check out!
Brawl Stars Brawl Pass December 2025 Changes
It looks like Brawl Stars wasn’t happy with just offering better rewards for F2P players, as they’ve now made various changes to it. So, you can look forward to ten more tiers, new items, and expect more value in general, though the price has also increased, $8.99 for a normal pass and $12.99 for Pass Plus.
However, you’ve until January to get them at the current price and even store some, as the price changes will go live then. But, I’m happier about the fact that Titles and Chroma Skins are being moved to the normal pass, and the fact that every Season will also include 2 Brawl Pass Skins and Chromas.
Free Tracks, Brawl Pass, and Brawl Pass Plus Changes
Now, the game is once again buffing the rewards in Free Tracks, adding an extra 1000 coins and a resource key, which you can exchange for 2000 powerpoints, the same as a Buffie. Plus, it also includes Chaos Drops, Extra Bling, and Credits.
Coming to Brawl Pass, you can now get Titles, Brawl Pass Skins, and their Chromas from the normal Brawl Pass, in addition to the freedom on how you progress your account with some new Resource, Skin, and Brawler Keys.

And lastly, Brawl Pass Plus is getting more Keys, which will be enough for you to obtain both Brawl Pass skins, along with their Chromas, starting from January. Oh, you’ll also get 50 more Gems on your Brawl Pass Plus after this update.
Brawl Stars New Brawl Pass Item: Keys
One of the highlights of this update is the introduction of Keys, which lets you open a Brawl Pass Vault. I guess they took inspiration from Call of Duty: Mobile for this. So, the Vault includes Resources, Skins, Brawlers, and Buffies, and you can collect 4 different Keys, with each for a different category of reward.

It will cost you 1 Key for each offer inside the vault, except for the Vintage Skin Sets, which require 2 keys. I’m sure everyone will try to obtain them. I like the concept of these Keys, as it gives us more freedom to plan our progression, whether we want Buffies or Skins, and we can even save Keys for a previous BP skin.
| Key Cost | New Brawler Key | Resource Key | Skin Set Key | Buffie Key |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Epic | 2000 Coins, 2000 Power Points, 5000 Bling | New Brawl Pass Skin + 2 Chromas | Specific Buffie |
| 2 | Mythic | Old Brawl Pass Skins + 2 Chromas | ||
| 4 | Legendary | |||
| 6 | Ultra Legendary |
To give you a better idea, the newly released Brawl Pass skins will cost you 1 Key, while the ones from the previous season cost 2 Keys. Moreover, Brawl Pass skins that’ll arrive from the January 2024 Starrforce Season, or non-collab skins, will be available in the Skin Vault. And with keys, you get both the skin and both Chromas.
Brawl Stars Brawl Pass End Rewards or Tail Reward
Coming to Tail Rewards, they’ll now cost you 2800 XP and give you something different each time, ranging from a Demon Drop to a Sushi Drop or even the newer Chaos Drop. But the main exciting part is that Tail Reward always provides you with better items than a random Starr Drop.

You can also spend your Gems to upgrade your tail reward, but make sure to claim it before the season ends, or it will turn into the standard reward. This looks like one of the biggest updates we’ve seen in a while. And, if you want to check out every change, you can read our December 2025 update article.
