- Caesar Clown KO’s low-power enemies for 2 DON!! but only when attacking.
- Usopp taxes Dressrosa characters but rewards Dressrosa unit removal with draws.
With the Royal Blood set in the One Piece Card Game, characters from the wildest arc, Punk Hazard, make their debut. In the anime, the Straw Hat crew swaps bodies, leading to hilarious chaos—Chopper in Sanji’s body or Sanji in Nami’s body, making everything even more absurd and funny.

These are the best Royal Blood alternate art cards from One Piece Card Game.
Cards from the Royal Blood set also work great with Supernovas and Donquixote Family type cards, encouraging you to build some crazy combos. There are only six Leader cards in this set, and we’ve ranked them for you in this list—because who doesn’t want to know which leader reigns supreme?

Trafalgar Law
Bounce Back To Victory
Trafalgar Law’s effect is like that one friend who promises to help, but only when they feel like it. In the early game, it’s useless—but later, with a well-constructed deck, it could become your best friend. If your characters’ total cost is five or more, you bounce one character back to your hand (preferably a low-cost one, so it doesn’t hurt).
Then, you reveal the top Life card—and if it’s a Supernova with a cost of five or less, you can play it. However, the conditions here are too many—your Supernova could be too expensive, or not a Supernova at all! Make sure to build your deck wisely, or this effect could just be another reason to cry.

Caesar Clown
Unleash The Gas, Watch Them Fall
Caesar Clown’s effect gives you solid control over your opponent’s board. K.O.-ing a character with 4,000 power or less is no joke—especially in the early game! Of course, it won’t touch high-cost cards, which limits its effectiveness against stronger enemies, but you can still clear out weaker ones with ease. The only downside? It costs two DON!!, so you’ll need to think before using it.
Plus, it only activates when attacking, so plan accordingly. On the bright side, you can bounce a cheap Punk Hazard character back to your hand while clearing out weaker enemies. Sounds fun, right? Your opponent’s best counterplay? Just hope their characters have more than 4,000 power!

Usopp
Turning Loss Into Gain
Usopp is a dual-color leader (Blue/Black), which sounds amazing—until you realize he makes your life harder. One of his effects increases the cost of all your Dressrosa characters (two or more cost) by one—yep, he taxes his own crew. But don’t lose hope! His second effect rewards you for running Dressrosa units.

If one of them gets KO’d or removed on your opponent’s turn, you draw a card—a little silver lining for your losses. The key? Balancing your deck with cheap Dressrosa cards or sneaking in some non-Dressrosa powerhouses to work around Usopp’s weird quirks.

Eustass “Captain” Kid
Stay Guarded, Stay Deadly
Eustass Kid’s effect is not only powerful but also rewards you for stacking your deck with Supernovas. With a wide range from three-cost to eight-cost characters, this effect gives you plenty of options. At the end of your turn, your chosen character reactivates and gains Blocker, making it a great tool for keeping your leader safe.
This effect stays useful throughout the game, allowing you to protect both your leader and key characters efficiently. Giving Blocker to high-cost cards? That’s a tough challenge for your opponent. Plus, having five life makes Kid an even better leader card. If annoying your opponent while staying well-defended sounds fun, Kid’s got you covered!
2
Smoker
You Can’t Stop The Navy
Smoker comes with two effects, and both scream “Navy supremacy!” First, during your opponent’s turn, all Navy and Punk Hazard characters get plus 1,000 power—which means if your deck is built around them, good luck to your opponent trying to KO anything.
But that’s not all! Smoker’s second effect is a once-per-turn ability that activates two DON!! if you have an at least 7,000 power character on the field. In the late game, this is huge—more DON!! means more plays, bigger attacks, and a harder time for your opponent to keep up. Smoker’s deck doesn’t just survive—it thrives.
1
Sugar
Events Made Easier, Victories Sweeter
Sugar has two effects, and both make her an incredibly useful leader card. With her abilities, you can gain an edge in DON!!, giving you more flexibility in your plays. Her first effect triggers at the end of your turn—if you have at least a 6,000-power Donquixote Pirates card, you set up one of your DON!! cards as active. It might not seem huge, but it’s great for setting up event plays.
Speaking of events, her second effect makes them even better! Every time you activate an Event card, you pull an active DON!! from your deck, making it easier to keep your momentum. If played right, Sugar keeps your DON!! flowing while your opponent struggles to keep up.
