Ortega continued that Wednesday might not want to say it, but “she really does have a friend” in Enid. Emma Myers, who plays Enid, also told Variety:
“Also, there’s no harm in changing things up, because [Enid] has changed over the summer. She’s grown, and she’s become more comfortable with herself.”
It’s interesting to imagine what changes Enid has experienced since viewers last saw her. While hopefully Wednesday will still be at the center of the story even though there are many new cast members, it will be interesting to see how these new characters fit into the character’s world.

But just like Wednesday encourages Enid to lean into her real self, Enid inspires Wednesday to be proud of who she is as well. Wednesday season 2 will stream on Netflix in 2025, but there is no release date as of now.
