These activities are highlighted in orange and are essential for your gameplay as you can get Knowledge Points to unlock more skills from them.

Horse Archery is one of these side activities, and as the name suggests, you’ll get used to using your bow while on a horse with these. You can only do this activity with Yasuke, so you’ll only find them on the map after unlocking him.
How To Find Every Horse Archery Spot
You can find a total of ten Horse Archery spots on the map of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The minigame that you do here is very easy in the first few provinces, but the targets you need to hit will start being hidden quite well as you progress. Here’s how you can get to all these locations:

You’ll start the game in the southern part of Settsu after the prologue, and for this Horse Archery, you have to make your way to the north in the river to the right side of Senri Hills. |

You can easily find this spot right below where Harima is written on the map on 1x zoom. It can be found to the north of Himeji City. |

Tamba |
From Mount Kasagata in Harima, take the river going up and keep going north a bit after you cross the boundary into Tamba. You’ll find this Horse Archery on your left, and it’s one of the hardest you’ll find. The third target in this Archery can be difficult to locate, but it’s submerged in the water on the right side after the second target and only a bit of it is visible. |

Yamashiro |
A big part of Yamashiro is covered with the Kyoto village in the middle. Head to the northwest of this village and you’ll easily find this spot just outside of it. |

Iga |
There is a river going through Iga, and you can find a village on its left shore in the middle of the province. You’ll see a smaller river going through this village to the west, and you can find this spot as you go through this river. |

Omi |
There is a bunch of water on the southern side of the Azuchi city in Omi, and you can find this point by going to the south of this water. |

Omi |
The second Omi Horse Archery can be found to the southeast of the Takashima Shores on the northwest side of the province. You can find it on the road near Lake Biwa. |

Wakasa |
You can easily find this one right below where Lake Suigetsu is written on the map on 2x zoom in the western part of Wakasa. |

Yamato |
You’ll find the Uda Matsuyama castle on the northeastern side of the Yamato region, and you can find this spot just above this castle. |

Kii |
While looking at Kii, you’ll see a group of islands extending further than the others on the right in the southern part. You can find the Horse Archery on these islands. |
