These latest SNES Switch Online additions are the second batch of Super Nintendo games to hit the service so far this year. Three SNES games were added to Switch Online at the end of January 2025, with Fatal Fury 2, Super Ninja Boy, and Sutte Hakkun all joining the lineup. It’s entirely possible that there are even more SNES games coming to the Switch Online subscription service later this year, and the same goes for other platforms represented on the service as well.
Nintendo has a busy 2025 ahead of it, with the company set to launch its highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 console. It’s possible that the Switch 2 will come with an enhanced Switch Online experience, but that remains to be seen. We know that Switch Online will carry over to the Switch 2, but no other details have been revealed when it comes to Nintendo’s plan for the subscription service moving forward. In any case, fans can expect more games to be added in the months ahead, and they can enjoy the latest additions, like the recently added SNES titles, in the meantime.
