Fortnite has thousands of skins. While it also has a big player base… there’s still clearly least used Fortnite skins. The outfits you might even forget is in the game. You can go months, even years without seeing them in the lobby! Often not really for a clear reason, they just happen to not have many fans.

How do we know what the least used Fortnite skins are? Thanks to Forntite’s API, platforms have the data on skin’s use. Although, there’s always a ton of completely unreleased skins. While they’re usually sat the very bottom, there are some commonly available ones that get extremely little use too.
We’ve known what the most popular Fortnite skins are from that dat. However, we also know what the least used Fortnite skins are! These are the most unpopular:
Top Least Used Fortnite Skins
9. Data Path

Source: Epic
Data Path is a Chapter 2 skin that features one of the dullest designs on this list! There isn’t much to make this one stand out. While it is the Tron collar, it’s just visually dull. Although, being one of a few very similar skins likely doesn’t help either. Which might be why it’s among the least used Fortnite skins out there.
8. Toshiro

Source: Epic
Toshiro is one of the most recent additions to the least used Fortnite skins. While it’s only from Chapter 5, it already has very few players. It might be new, but it’s only being used a handful of times in the current season. It’s a bit of a mystery why this one has fallen so much in popularity, although better skins with similar designs featured heavily in the C6 S1 Battle Pass.
7. Bone Wasp

Source: Epic
Bone Wasp is one the older side, coming from Season 2. The skin actually has quite a fun design. Nothing ground breaking, however it’s no exactly a plain human. At one point it was popular enough to get an action figure. But now it’s one of the last used Fortnite skins.
6. Ecto Expert

Source: Epic
Ecto Expert is one of the more interesting of the least used Fortnite skins. Although, it’s actually part o a relatively popular franchise’s collar, it’s one of the Ghostbusters Fortnite crossover skins! This was a strange collab. It tied in with a movie. But was just generic defaults in the ghostbusters outfits. A dull collab, and a strange way to bring such an iconic franchise into Fortnite. It’s also at this point on the rarer side of Fortnite skins. So not a big surprise that it’s one of the least used.
5. Morro

Source: Epic
Morro is way down there in least used Fortnite skins right now. While it wasn’t exactly hard to get, it barley gets players. The skin was released back in Chapter 2, but just haven’t built up much of a fanbase. There’s no major reason why this one isn’t used, it’s just that no one likes it.
4. Knockout

Source: Epic
Knock is another that is down here for pure aesthetic reasons. It’s just a less popular version of more interesting skin designs. It was available back in Season X of Chapter 1, so this is a particularly old inclusion in the least used Fortnite skins.
3. Fadeaway

Source: Epic
Fadeaway is one of the sports skins released. These typically come in multiple varieties, different people in the same outfit. This always reduces the popularity of each individual skin. However, being way down as the least used Fortnite skins is worse than the majority in this set-up. The Fadewaway skin is more uniquely unpopular. It’s not been seen in 3 years either.
2. Deo

Source: Epic
Chapter 2 Season 3 skin, 1,500 V-Bucks. Just not that interesting. Probably fewer users since there’s two different versions, a male and a female so the male is a lot less popular.
1. Axion

Source: Epic
In Chapter 6 Season 2, Axion is the least used Fortnite skin that was actually available! There’s a handful which are lesser used, but they were never released or only accidentally available. Axion holds the crown.
This skin came as part of a Level Up pack, and a pretty recent one. In Chapter 4 season 1. Not exactly the old Fortnite seasons. So why does no one use it? Unfortunately, this one is probably down to design. It’s dull. Although it’s a level up pack, it’s just not very distinct. There’s a ton of skins which have this vague idea and they’re more interesting. Axion just isn’t the best Fortnite skin and doesn’t get much use.
Skins With 0 Recent Uses
Those are the skins with next to no players using them. But there are more. There are quite a few skins which exist in the game but can’t be used. These are unreleased skins, ones that exist in the files kind of but aren’t exactly accessible. These are some of the skins that get no uses at the moment:
- Treasured Aura
- Ghoul
- Rosette Tigress
- Melodie Mars
- Harmony Lee
- Sideline Commanders
- Spiral Specialist
- Gemini
These skins get no plays, since they’re not even available. Although, the two referee skins are a bit different. These were handed out to content creators before being pulled from the the store since they’re barley distinct from the existing referee skins. However, these could be used by the small number of accounts who own these rare Fortnite skins. They’re just not interesting enough to warrant much play even from those who do have them!
