The Pokemon TCG often dedicates plenty of room in its sets to include each generation’s featured legendary Pokemon. The best sets from the Sword & Shield era wouldn’t be the same without the beautiful array of valuable Zacian cards scattered throughout the era.
The most expensive Zacian cards in the Pokemon TCG feature a range of scenes to appreciate, as this sword-bearing wolf will capture your attention and your heart with some incredible portrayals. Despite Zacian’s relatively short existence in the Pokemon TCG, it already touts several affordable cards worth watching.
Cards are valued according to their TCGPlayer Market Price, which you might pay for a near-mint copy of the cards below.
Sale prices are different depending on conditions, so this is just a rough idea of the card’s value.
Updated March 20, 2025, by Andrew Scariati: The best Zacian cards have shifted massively since we first analyzed this Legendary Pokemon’s best cards. Two undervalued Zacian cards skyrocketed in value while a newcomer surged to make the list. The rest of the best Zacian cards received minor price shakeups reflected in their new market prices.

Zacian V: SwSh Base Set (Full Art) – $3.17
A Beauty From The Base Set
While the base sets are usually forgettable introductions to each Pokemon Generation, this Zacian V full-art brings it back into the spotlight with beautiful blue accents.
At under a few dollars, you can’t go wrong with this card as a Zacian fan, though given its source and status as a full-art in an era where there’s so much more to hunt, this Zacian isn’t a top contender to soar in value. While it may defy the odds and increase drastically, typically these cards are passed over in favor of more unique artwork.
A Cut Above
The first promo card on this list carves out a solid placement among the most expensive Zacian cards, especially considering its design. However, design is only part of the equation, as this promo card features a cracked ice holo pattern that gives it a distinguishing quality from a normal holo rare.
As always, the condition is a huge factor, though the dollar amounts aren’t vastly different for such an affordable card.
You can find this card for about $1.50 in less than near-mint (NM) condition, but it won’t cost you more than four dollars in perfect condition.
The Shine Is Right
If you’re a fan of valuable Gold Star cards then you know just how important shiny forms can be in the Pokemon TCG, with Zacian’s blue and gold colors shining bright. Unfortunately, this shiny Zacian doesn’t take top honors when it comes to this design, with one more valuable color palette taking a higher placement.

Manaphy boasts valuable cards from sets across generations.
Despite missing out on a spot further up the list, this Zacian still experienced an impressive run up the charts, with this card barely hanging on to the one-dollar mark in 2024, before it jumped to its current market price later in 2024 and maintained the new high into 2025.
Bold Black And Gold
This Zacian V pays homage to the best cards from Ultra Prism and its eerily similar Solgaleo artwork you’ll find among the most valuable.
While this style is arguably even more divisive than the rainbow rares you’d find in the best Sun & Moon era sets, this card commands a little more value than your typical Zacian card.
Putting aside the love-it-or-hate-it artwork, this Zacian card has the potential to stand out in the future, as this style isn’t used in modern sets, giving it a unique quality. However, considering the other valuable Zacian cards to come, this one might get lost in the shuffle down the line.

Zacian V: Prize Pack Series (Ultra Rare) – $10.00
It’s All In The Stamp
Sometimes a stamp can make all the difference when it comes to Pokemon cards, as this Zacian V art is usually considered just another bulk card, but the Prize Pack Series version shoots its value up above some other strong contenders.

While rarity is the primary reason for this card’s value, its art doesn’t inspire interest. Art preferences aside, this card will be a fond memory for many in years to come, so it may continue to climb in value.

Zacian V: SwSh Base Set (Secret Rare) – $14.29
The Gold Standard
The Zacian V Gold Secret Rare takes us full circle through the most expensive Zacian cards thus far, taking a familiar design and elevating it to the next level.
The Zacian V 076 promo and the Zacian V SwSh Base Set full art both feature the same art with varying color schemes, though this version feels the most distinct, given the excellent synergy between Zacian’s color palette and the gold background.
Despite a downward trend that began at $16, this Zacian V is still clinging to the double digits, as the demand for this card keeps it afloat. While Zacian is still a young Pokemon in the grand scheme of the Pokemon TCG, a solid start sets the stage for a splendid future ahead.
2
Zacian V: Crown Zenith (Galarian Gallery) – $16.82
A Zacian Like No Other
While it misses out on the upper echelon of valuable Crown Zenith cards, this Zacian V Galarian Gallery makes a genuine argument for the best Zacian artwork in the entire Pokemon TCG. The unique design features artwork that doubles as a mural of Zacian, giving it an ancient quality.
This regal depiction of Zacian deserves the attention it receives, and despite falling into the single digits from its previous high of around $14, this card has enough positive qualities to send it back up to its current market price.

Zacian V: Astal Radiance (Trainer Gallery) – $24.09
A Tender Moment With Hop
Astral Radiance is a gorgeous set that features several expensive standout cards to chase, including some of the most adorable Trainer Gallery cards you’ll find.
While this Zacian V doesn’t stand out as one of the most valuable cards from Astral Radiance, its depiction of a sweet moment with Hop might make it more desirable as we look back on the best Zacian cards in the years to come.
Zacian saw a significant dip but has rebounded incredibly well with a positive trajectory that takes it to a new all-time high thanks to a solid follow-through on the strong momentum it built in 2024.
