What are the Assassin’s Creed Shadows quests? The latest installment in the iconic RPG series has plenty of content for you to sneak or slash through, and keeping track of every quest and side mission can quickly become overwhelming.

This is especially true seeing as Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ quest structure isn’t entirely linear, and at points you’ll be able to pick and choose which of the AC Shadows bosses you want to prioritize hunting down in the RPG (obligatory spoiler warning). This doesn’t even account for the numerous side-assassination targets you can cleave through with the best AC Shadows weapons. Assassin’s Creed Shadows main quests

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has you shift between dual protagonists, Naoe and Yasuke. There are moments when you’ll have to play as one-half of the pair to proceed, however. We’ve noted these quests in the list below.

In true open-world RPG fashion, side quests are found while travelling around Japan, given by NPCs in towns, or started accidentally after stumbling upon a quest item. Below we’ve noted the NPCs tied to certain quests, plus any dependencies spotted during our playthrough. Some questlines won’t offer up the next step until the seasons change, so be wary of that.

Many of the AC Shadows allies who join the league have a subset of quests that need to be completed for them to become full-fledged members. Some even lead to a cheeky bit of AC Shadows romance. Junjiro’s quests are season-gated, meaning you won’t be able to instantly start his next mission until the calendar’s flipped – at least in our experience.
