Endemic Life are small creatures found in any region of Monster Hunter Wilds that range from small creatures that occasionally get in your way to tiny bugs you may not even know exist. Catching Endemic Life can be tied to side quests or is just an easy way to earn some extra Guild Points.
The more rare the endemic life, the more Guild Points you get, or the better the rewards for completing the quest. Gold Hercudromes are one of the rarest Endemic life you’ll find in Monster Hunter Wilds, and there will be a good bit of chance when you try to catch one yourself.

Where To Find Gold Hercudrome In Monster Hunter Wilds
Gold Hercudromes only spawn in Area 2, 3, and a bit of Area 5 in the Scarlet Forest. While this alone may seem limiting, they also only spawn during nighttime and only during Fallow weather. Whenever you arrive in the Scarlet Forest to try and track them down, you can rest in your tent in order to change the time and weather to the optional hunting time.
Gold Hercudromes don’t appear on the map and have no marker to help identify them when you do see them.
Once in the right place with the right conditions, you’ll want to start looking for trees where the tree sap is bleeding out of the tree, indicated by the bright red color coming out of the tree. You’ll find a few types of bugs on the sap, but the one you’re looking for will be a bright gold beetle-like creature. They are slightly larger than the other bugs you’ll see and overall do stand out, but their incredibly low spawn rate will still make them hard to find.
They can spawn on any tree in the areas listed above, and their size can make them very easy to miss unless you’re walking by the tree and examining it thoroughly. Commonly, only one Gold Hercudrome will spawn at a time, and after catching one you’ll have much better luck using the Guild Points and resetting the weather and time before trying to find another one. In this area, during these conditions, you may also find:

How To Catch Gold Hercudromes In Monster Hunter Wilds
Once you spot a Gold Hercudrome, you’ll want to act fast before it despawns. Equip the Capture Net onto your Slinger and shoot the net at the Gold Hercudrome. Your net will have a bit of drop off so you may need to angle your shot above the Gold Hercudrome depending on how high up it is and how far away you’re trying to catch it. As long as your net gets fairly close to the Gold Hercudrome, you’ll catch it and earn 50 Guild Points.
