Borderlands 3 Fan Shows Off Moze Cosplay

A passionate Borderlands 3 player recreated the appearance of Moze in great detail, catching the attention of the franchise’s official social media and the FPS title’s community. Moze is one of the various playable characters in Borderlands 3 and is quite a popular name among the game’s fans.

After rolling out in 2019, Borderlands 3 received a positive critical reception and sold eight million units within its first six months, marking another successful entry in the series for developer Gearbox Software. Among its defining traits was the lineup of colorful characters for players to choose from, each offering their own unique skill set. Of the four playable Vault Hunters in Borderlands 3, Moze the Gunner is an especially popular choice, partly thanks to the character’s highly useful Iron Bear mech, which can further be improved by spending skill points. Recently, one talented fan won praise from Borderlands players for their eye-catching portrayal of Moze.

Instagram user chamille_cosplay’s depiction of Moze from Borderlands 3, captured by photographer reg_p_is_art, earned a shout-out from the official Borderlands social media handles. From the character’s iconic military uniform to her iconic tactical knife with the word “Stab!” written on it, the Moze cosplay covers an interesting degree of detail. Moreover, chamille_cosplay also made ingenious use of make-up to recreate the unique art style of the Borderlands franchise for their fan art. Under their Instagram post, reg_p_is_art notably expressed amazement at the quality of the cosplay and applauded the effort involved.

In the comments on Twitter, several Borderlands 3 enthusiasts commended the Moze cosplay, with one of them saying, “Love it! Moze is by far [sic] my favorite Vault Hunter.” Another user shared being impressed by the accuracy of the cosplay and said that it made them “hope” to see the character return in the sequel. The latest fan creation is one of the many ways Borderlands players have shared their fondness for Moze in the past.

Back in 2024, the latest Borderlands-related project, a live-action film adaptation, came out and bombed at the box office. This year, Gearbox may very well add another hit game to the franchise’s catalog, with Borderlands 4 scheduled for arrival on September 23. The forthcoming title is set to be one of the big releases from Take-Two Interactive this year, alongside other highly anticipated releases, namely Mafia: The Old Country and Grand Theft Auto 6.
