How To Play Genshin Impact Invasive Fish Wrangler Event

Genshin Impact How To Play Invasive Fish Wrangler Event

Invasive Fish Wrangler is an extremely easy event to get quick Primogems and other valuable rewards. There are no complex mechanics involved, so you can have a relaxed mindset and enjoy throwing different types of nets to catch a variety of fish and obtain Wrangler Points. There are two modes in this event that slightly change the way the games function.

Modes

Co-op mode will allow you to play with three other players. The goal here is to get as many Wrangler Points as possible as a team while also having a strong individual performance. The Fish-Off mode is a more competitive environment where you compete with three other players, with the highest individual score taking the win.

Additionally, the number of action points gained and spent in Fish-Off mode will be added to the total number of action points you have during the event, which can be displayed to your friends. There are three tiers in Fish-Off mode depending on your action points, which are:

  • Beginner Tier: 0–9,999 action points
  • Veteran Tier: 10,000–29,999 action points
  • Master Tier: 30,000 or more action points

Challenge Buffs

Before each game, a random buff will be selected that can provide powerful temporary effects when catching a Marvelfish that carries the buff. These Marvelfish can be identified by the glow they emit, which makes them stand out. Here are the three challenge buffs that are available in the Invasive Fish Wrangler event:

Buff

Effects

Fisher’s Frenzy

A green-glowing Frenzied Marvelfish will appear in the fishing zone. For 15s after catching this fish, your small/medium nets will enter a Frenzy state. During this period, when you successfully catch fish of these sizes with the corresponding net, action points gained will continue to increase with each successive catch, up to a maximum of 4x/3x their original value. Catching a Frenzied Marvelfish again will not provide any buffs.

One Worth Five

A red-glowing Surprise Marvelfish will appear in the fishing zone. For 10s after catching this fish, you will randomly gain one of the following 3 buffs: 1. Automatically quick-throw small nets without using action points. 2. Throwing 2 extra nets when you throw a medium net. 3. Using half the amount of action points as usual when you throw a large net. While the effect is active, catching the Surprise Marvelfish again will not provide any more buffs.

Random Marvel

A gold-glowing Multiplier Marvelfish will appear in the fishing zone. Catching this fish will grant you 5x the number of action points you would get for catching an ordinary fish of the same size.
