World of Warcraft Might Have Just Teased Patch 11.2

World of Warcraft drops a huge teaser for what could be the subject of Patch 11.2 a mere week after the release of the Undermine(d) content update.

Less than a day after that, World of Warcraft has pulled back the curtain on the next content update for the expansion. Patch 11.1.5 is the first of two World of Warcraft updates to take place between 11.1 and 11.2. The headlining feature of this patch is Nightfall, an activity in which players team up with Flame’s Radiance, a new faction featuring a 10-tier Renown track. Fans will face down Nerubian Sureki loyalists in the aftermath of Queen Ansurek’s downfall via a new public scenario, as well as in skirmishes across Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet, to earn armor sets, weapons, a tabard that changes appearance with Renown rank, an alternative color for the Delver’s Dirigible, and even global buffs while in the two zones.

Completing challenges within the Dastardly Dome will allow fans to earn achievements and unlock cosmetics, toys, and even dungeon gear.

Were that not exciting enough, World of Warcraft is bringing back the Horrific Visions from Battle for Azeroth with some new additions. Players will enter corrupted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar to complete objectives and challenges either alone or in groups, fielding a Construct of Soridormi to fill in any combat role in an undersized party. Fans can also earn mounts, toys, transmogs, weapon enchantments, and Hero gear by completing challenges through the activity, and can buy previous rewards with Displaced Corrupted Mementos.

There will be more content coming in Patch 11.1.5, such as a UI update that introduces a native Cooldown Manager, allowing players to better track when abilities can be used. Fans can expect to learn more about the update over the next several weeks as Patch 11.1.5 makes its way to the Public Test Realm.
