Sea Of Clouds Geoculus Locations In Genshin Impact

Liyue’s Sea of Clouds is home to Liyue Harbor, one of the most popular and prominent locations in Genshin Impact, alongside other attractions such as Guyun Stone Forest and Mount Tianheng. Despite having only 19 Geoculus in the area, it still features some of the toughest Geoculus to collect in Liyue.

A lot of climbing and extensive routing is required in order to obtain some of the Geoculus, which can become a bit tedious without the right amount of stamina. Therefore, it is recommended to collect Geoculus in easier Liyue areas, such as Qiongji Estuary. If you are ready, here’s how to collect the Geoculus found in the Sea of Clouds.

The best place to start looking for Geoculus in Liyue’s Sea of Clouds is from the area’s Statue of the Seven. From here, climb over the nearby hill to find the Geoculus in the middle.

Return to the Statue of the Seven and go forward towards the elevated house. Climb the cliff directly next to the house and drop on the latter’s roof to get the Geoculus.

This is one of the tougher Geoculus to obtain if you don’t have enough stamina, as it requires a pretty long and calculated climb. Once you are at the top, light up the torch with a Pyro character to collect the Geoculus as well as a Luxurious Chest. While climbing the mountain, make sure to constantly find small spots where you can regain stamina.

The next Geoculus will be much easier to obtain as you can glide directly west from the tall mountain to collect it.

This Geoculus can be spotted behind a locked door. To unlock this door, defeat all the Hilichurls around the structure and drop into the small crack to find another crack that leads to the Geoculus alongside three Common Chests.

Climb Mount Tianheng to the very top to find a Ruin Hunter. Defeat it and activate the Geo Monument to create a path. Follow the path and create a Geo construct at the very end to gain enough height to collect the Geoculus. Using the Geo Traveler in this instance is very helpful.

Glide west from Mount Tianheng to automatically spot this Geoculus on your way down.

Go to the mountain opposite Mount Tianheng. On your way to the top, you can find a couple of stairs winding down to a small cave that contains a Geoculus.

The marker for this Geoculus can be misleading, as it is not at the top of Mount Tianheng. Instead, you will have to glide from the teleport waypoint on the mountain opposite to Mount Tianheng to find a couple of Hilichurls under a cave. Defeat them and drop into the cave to find the Geoculus.

This Geoculus is under the left statue found near the Liyue Harbor exit that leads to Lisha. Go down the small crack at the foot of the statue to obtain the Geoculus. You can also light up four torches with a Pyro character to get an Exquisite Chest.

The next two Geoculus can be found on the way to Guyun Stone Forest. The first one is hard to miss, being located on top of a mossy branch near the teleport waypoint.

The next Geoculus requires some ice bridging with a Cryo character like Kaeya, as it is on top of water.

The best way to get to Guyun Stone Forest is to glide from the edge of the cliff where Geoculus 11 can be found. Once you reach Guyun Stone Forest, simply walk forward towards the teleport waypoint to find one of the easiest Geoculus to collect.

Continue to the island directly in front of the teleport waypoint, and climb to the top of the mountain to obtain this Geoculus.

Similiar to the previous Geoculus, climb to the top of the mountain on the island where the Domain of Guyun is. Here, you can use the Geo Traveler to create a Geo construct to collect the Geoculus.

From the mountain in the previous location, glide towards the Alcor, Beidou’s ship, to find the Geoculus on top of one of the masts.

Go to the island to the west of Domain of Guyun. Be careful here, as there are a lot of Ruin Guards in this area. An easy way to get to this Geoculus, located on top of a mountain, is to activate the four-leaf clover pinwheel located near the foot of the mountain. With it, you can glide up the wind current to the top of the mountain and collect the Geoculus.

Go to the Geo Hypostasis arena and head towards the edge of the cliff. From here, you can activate a four-leaf clover pinwheel to gain enough height to glide towards the island that has the Geoculus.

You can also do this with a friend; standing on the heart engraving on the island along with another player in co-op mode grants a Luxurious Chest and an achievement.

The final Geoculus in Sea of Clouds is a tricky one to get, as it is on the Pearl Galley ship located near the southernmost port of Liyue Harbor. To get to the ship, head over to the rock formation at the southern point of the map, near the out-of-bounds zone. From here, you can simply glide to the ship and climb up a few structures to collect the Geoculus.

Exploring the Pearl Galley for the first time also triggers the world quest known as “The Ocean Pearl.” Completing the quest allows you to ask Pinghai, a boatman in Liyue Harbor, to visit the Pearl Galley whenever you please without having the need to glide or ice bridge towards the ship.
