But that’s all coming to an end soon, at least for a while. Sakamoto Days first cour is confirmed to air for 11 episodes, meaning that in just a few weeks, the first part of the series will finish broadcasting, and fans might have some peace for a while.

Sakamoto Days Episode 9 Release Date
If you’re watching Sakamoto Days following the international release, then Episode 9 will debut on March 8, 2025, globally. However, the Japanese broadcast is one week ahead, and die-hard Sakamoto Days fans have already watched it, as it aired today (March 1) in Japan.
In contrast to Episode 8, the reception for Episode 9 seems to be generally favorable so far. There is a scene featuring Slur that fans are highlighting, although many manga fans think it could be better.
