The final part of the teaser seemingly revealed the released date as it included a crucial detail that reads “Sat 12th Apr iPLAYER.” The date is a massive revelation because Doctor Who episodes are set to air simultaneously on BBC in the UK and Disney Plus internationally. This means that if the show will debut on iPLAYER on April 12, it will also be released on BBC and Disney Plus on the same day. This answers the question from fans about how long they have to wait for the new season.

Meanwhile, the viewers can expect to see new faces in Doctor Who Season 15. Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies previously said that EastEnders’ Frankie Lewis will star in the new season’s “scariest episode.” “It’s absolutely terrifying, she’s magnificent in it… to see Ncuti with her,” he said. He also added, “other guest names in that cast are phenomenal.” Davies also recently expressed his excitement about having Slow Horses star Christopher Chung on board to play a new character named Cassio.
