Razer is teaming up with the greatest League of Legends player of all time, Faker, for this brand-new Viper V3 Pro mouse. The five-time LoL world champion won his first four titles with a Razer Deathadder as his go-to clicker, but recently won his fifth title with a Viper shell, and now says he has designed this model as “a gift to my most loyal fans.”
For this collaboration, Razer chose its best gaming mouse for esports play and worked with Faker to create a one-of-a-kind design. You can read a complete breakdown of this mouse in my Viper V3 Pro review.
The Razer Viper V3 Pro is an elite esports gaming mouse thanks to its ultra-light 54g weight, 35K Focus Pro optical sensor, 8kHz polling rate, Gen-3 optical switches, and up to 95 hours of battery life. It’s the most fitting mouse for this collaboration, especially seeing as it’s the one Faker just used to win his fifth world championship.
While this vibrant mouse is unnamed, beyond being called the Faker Edition, it’s heavily implied that the design on the rear of the mouse is a manifestation of one of Faker’s most common monikers, the ‘Unkillable Demon King.’
The demon design, as well as Faker’s signature along the right-click, are printed in black onto the matted red design. This ensures that the designs will be durable should you choose to use this mouse on your journey to Challenger.
To my tastes, the shade of red used in the Faker Edition is preferable to the deep metallic crimson used in the Sentinels version of the Viper V3 Pro, which is also available in basic black or white.
Even the box has an added touch, in that the design from the rear of the mouse is embossed across the front. All in all, this mouse is a great homage to League’s greatest-ever player and is sure to be a hit with his fans. Inside the box, there is even a note from Faker talking about his achievements and how Razer’s mice have been with him throughout his professional journey.
