The clashing of steel, the voices of warring forces, and the blood of a battlefield are just a few of the things that make Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 a fantastic medieval RPG. The game’s biggest draw is immersing yourself in a truly gripping world – it’s exactly the kind of escapism I look for in PC games. To my surprise, Fanatical’s VIP Mystery Bundle gives you the opportunity to get Warhorse’s latest for just $4.99 / £4.99 – but only if you’re lucky.
I don’t often fall in love with RPGs as much as I have with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Usually, I skim through the main quest while thinking about the upcoming PC games I’ll be playing in the future, but for some reason, I just can’t get enough of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Whether I’m smithing up a sword fit for royalty, picking herbs for an alchemy session, or fighting off bandits, I’ve spent upwards of 50 hours in the game already.
You play as Henry of Skaltiz, a blacksmith’s son turned knight, as he escorts nobleman Hans of Capon to deliver an important letter. Unfortunately, things go awry when a group of bandits kill most of your group and you’re pushed to the brink of death. You end up back at square one, scrounging to survive as best you can before being thrust into a massive, politically engaging narrative focused on a group of rival factions.
In between escapades with Hans or the many other faces you meet on your travels, you’ll have to survive in a treacherous 15th-century world. Calling it an RPG alone is disingenuous, as I think it also makes for one of the best survival games. You’ll need to manage your wounds, cleanliness, and hunger if you want a realistic chance in Henry’s many battles.

It’s a truly fantastic game, one that I’ll always consider as one of the best PC games ever made. However, don’t just take my word for it: in our Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 review, Lowell calls it “a must-play medieval RPG,” and I couldn’t have put it better myself.
If you’re looking at the high price tag with some concerns though, the Fanatical VIP Mystery Bundle may be just what you need. Right now, you can get three games for just $4.99 / £4.99, and if you’re lucky, you may be able to score Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 or another triple-A game with your purchase. Here’s a list of other games that you can get:
- Sid Meier’s Civilization 7
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Dynasty Warriors: Origins
- Ninja Gaiden 2 Black
Even if you don’t get any of the triple-A games, there are still some great bargains up for grabs like Hi-Fi Rush, Doom Eternal, and Frostpunk. Every game available in the bundle is rated ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ on Steam with over 1,000 reviews in the last 12 months at least (except for the games above, as they’re new and their review ratings are still fluctuating).
Before your adventure in Bohemia, I’d recommend finding yourself a Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 horse, to make those journeys a lot easier. You’ll need some Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 money, too – you need to survive, after all.
