After the emergency escape from their plane, everyone in Hello Kitty Island Adventure touched down on the island safely thanks to their balloons, and they’re settling in nicely. However, something’s still missing: the luggage they brought with them. It’s been thrown all over the island, and no one’s sure where it went or what belongs to whom.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Guide To Abilities And Companions
Here, you can learn all about companions in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, as well as what abilities they can provide for you.
Cinnamaroll is the designated mail carrier for the island, but he’s constantly busy with deliveries, so he doesn’t have the time to scour the region for them. It’s up to you and your tools to help him out, find all your friends’ lost luggage, and return them to their rightful owners.
How To Start Lost Luggage
Finding any piece of Packaged Luggage will start the quest, and the earliest one you can find is Chococat’s, which requires minimal story quest progression, and only one of your major tools.
When you find the luggage, you’ll need to figure out who it belongs to and then return the lost luggage to one of seven characters who’ve lost something: Badtz-maru, Chococat, Hangyodon, Hello Kitty, Keroppi, My Melody, and Kuromi.
If you go into the menu and read the info tab for the Packaged Luggage, it gives you a hint about whom to give it to via the description and the liked item symbol.
The Packaged Luggages can be found at certain spots across all four major regions of the game, and they resemble a blue and pink crate with wings on the sides, similar to Cinnamaroll’s color scheme.
While there isn’t an overall quest reward for it like some others, each gifted Packaged Luggage does still grant the character a significant amount of Friendship, similar to completing one of theirs, so it’s worth searching for and delivering them all.
Badtz-maru’s Lost Luggage
To find Badtz-maru’s Packaged Luggage, you’ll need to progress enough to unlock the gate leading to the Spooky Swamp. Head through to the northern edge of the region, past the minecart track, and use some of the rocks to climb up the top of the cliff that runs along that northern edge.
While you can uncover the foggy portions of the map by turning on the Minecart Tour’s three lanterns, you don’t have to do it to be able to find Badtz-maru’s luggage.
Run along it until you reach a flat area near the center, and you’ll find his Packaged Luggage overlooking a section of sand and shallow water with rows of rocks connecting them. Bring it over to Badtz-maru at his Comic Stand, and his part will be complete.
Chococat’s Lost Luggage
For Chococat’s luggage, you’ll need to open the big gates and reach the Spooky Swamp area, where you can find the other part of the Flippers you’ll need to be able to swim in the water without getting sent back to the shore.
Once you’ve got them, head to the Resort section of the island, then swim into the lake south of Chococat’s house. Grab the Packaged Luggage near the shore closest to him, then find Chococat at his home, and give it to him.
Hangyodon’s Lost Luggage
The third Packaged Luggage you’ll be tracking down belongs to Hangyodon, and you’ll need to reach Gemstone Mountain to find it. This region is located northwest of the Spooky Swamp, and the only prerequisite for getting to it is unlocking the Spooky Swamp itself.
You don’t need the Flippers to reach it, but they can help a lot cut down the travel time a bit if you use them to swim through the water around the area.
You can find this one on the southwestern edge of the region, on the cliff sitting directly right of the top of the broken staircase that leads to the main area that has a Nul wandering near it.
Before you can deliver it to Hangyodon, you’ll need to reach Friendship level six with Kuromi and do the Deep Diving quest you get from her to obtain the Snorkel. When you’ve got it, head down to the Comedy Club in the southwestern corner of the underwater region and hand it over to Hangyodon.
Hello Kitty’s Lost Luggage
For Hello Kitty’s luggage, you’ll need to have unlocked the Spooky Swamp, obtained the Flippers, found and reached Friendship level six with Kuromi, and obtained the Snorkel before you can find it.
Either walk or swim to the waters directly south of the Gemstone Mountain region, and find the large pier near the center of the southern part of the region.
Dive into the waters there, and you’ll find the Packaged Luggage on the edge of a set of three rocks to the left of the ledge with a Radiant Chest directly below this pier. Bring it back to Hello Kitty, and gift it to her to solve another part of the quest.
Keroppi’s Lost Luggage
The fifth Packaged Luggage on your list belongs to Keroppi, and it’s located on Mount Hothead, the volcanic region in the northwestern corner of the map.
You’ll want to have at least one or two extra sections to your Stamina bar as reaching the location of Keroppi’s luggage requires climbing several fairly high cliffs.
Like with Gemstone Mountain, you only need minimal story progression to reach this area: Spooky Swamp needs to be unlocked, and you need to have gotten the Flippers by doing Chococat’s quest and finding the other part in a chest in the Spooky Swamp region.
Make your way over to Mount Hothead from the western side of the resort, cross over Moonstone Island, and swim the rest of the way over to the region. Start at the fast-travel mailbox near the bottom, and carefully use the rocks and cliffs to climb up the volcano, keeping to the western side.
If you jump to your maximum height, then cling to a wall and begin climbing, you can avoid some stamina loss from starting the climb and get higher for less.
When you reach the secondary level with the row of buildings, go to the right side of them and carefully hop between the rocks in the lava along the cliff until you can get onto the top of the buildings.
Do the same thing as before and jump between the rocks until you reach a ledge with a Treasure Chest containing a Black Dye Pouch, then climb directly to your right to find the Upper Ruins Entrance mailbox.
Use that as a checkpoint, then climb up the rocks near it to the roof of the building, stand on the highest rock on top of it, then climb up to the top of the volcano, jumping again at the end if needed.
Run along the rim of the volcano to the west, then jump and float down to where the pile of debris is, then hop over to the rocks to the right to find Keroppi’s Packaged Luggage. Bring it back to him at either the Resort or the Nature Preserve, and give it to him.
Kuromi’s Lost Luggage
Kuromi’s luggage is located back near the Comedy Club, so again you’ll need to have unlocked the Spooky Swamp, found and gotten Kuromi’s Friendship level six, and obtained the Snorkel from her level six Friendship quest before you can reach this location.
Dive or fast-travel to the Comedy Club in the southwestern corner of the Rainbow Reef, and swim over the fence directly south of it. Kuromi’s luggage is in the sand near some coral, and then all you need to do is head back to her usual location in Spooky Swamp to give it to her.
My Melody’s Luggage
My Melody’s luggage is the second one located in Mount Hothead, but thankfully it’s not nearly as difficult to get as Keroppi’s. Make your way to the region by either swimming from Moon Island and using the rocks and ledges anywhere along the side to climb up, or via the Mount Hothead fast-travel mailbox.
From that first mailbox near the ruins and Retsuko’s usual location, head east along the path and follow it until you reach the second ledge on the right with several palm trees and plants on it.
My Melody’s luggage is on the edge of the ledge between three yellow flowers and some Toasted Almonds, and you can bring it back to her to complete the entire quest.
