Marvel Rivals has only been out for a little while, but players are already using abilities in ways that the developer probably didn’t intend. Dropping Punisher turrets through Doctor Strange portals and Loki being able to revive himself by copying Hela are just two examples, and now Peni Parker players have a new way to make everyone’s lives a living hell.
Those of you who play Peni Parker will know her game revolves around the placement of her Spider Nest, which will swarm players with tiny explosive spiders whenever they step foot in its radius. Like most other consumables, this next can be destroyed and rendered useless, but certain maps may actually allow Peni Parker to place down a nest that’s impossible to destroy.
Marvel Rivals Fans Discover Way To Make Peni Parker Spider Nests Immortal
Right now, it seems like there are only two maps on which Peni can actually do this. The first map is Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda: Birnin T’Challa, specifically in the map that has you fighting for the point above a large waterfall. As demonstrated by YouTube user Neko and Tora, if you deal enough damage to the surrounding area, it will shift and drop debris.
However, just before the debris drops, we see the player place a Spider Nest underneath it. A rock then drops onto the Spider Nest, but doesn’t destroy it, encasing the nest in a protective wall of stone that even Moon Knight’s infamously broken ultimate can’t get through.

Overwatch 2 needs a competitor, not an executioner.
The second map on which Peni can do this is Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya, and involves the bell tower close to the attacking team’s spawn. Once the tower is destroyed, the bell will fall to the ground and cover a Peni Parker’s Spider Nest almost perfectly, and you won’t be able to shoot or destroy it. Granted, the area it covers isn’t great, but it is an immortal Spider Nest set up.
Of course, both of these require a significant amount of set up, but if you’re a Peni Parker main and can see that these bits of debris are close to dropping, you can position your nest accordingly. It’s also worth noting that your nest can be destroyed should you actually die, so it’s not there for the entire game, but it may be a little trick to add to your arsenal until NetEase eventually patches it out.
