A shocking selection

While the region doesn’t have motorbikes or steampunk mechs, it has some of Genshin Impact’s finest characters. From Bennett’s absurd buffs to Fischl’s Electro application, here are the best Mondstadt characters in Genshin Impact, ranked!

7

Eula

Best Physical DPS

Eula
is the premium Physical DMG DPS in Genshin Impact. Unfortunately for her, Physical teams don’t usually make for a premier team, instead existing as sort of a worse version of Mono Geo teams. Eula being bound to being a Physical DPS hinders her usefulness a lot.

With all that being said, Eula is still a hypercarry that can deal tons of damage with the added benefit of not needing any dedicated supports. She can hit the highest nukes in the game, and you don’t have to worry about timing your reactions right.

6

Albedo

Off-Field Geo DPS

Geo teams aren’t the most popular, but the comfort of not worrying about any specific reactions or rotations makes them one of the easiest teams to play. Another factor that adds to the comfort is the sub DPS units available for Geo teams, including Albedo
.

Sometimes, the best teams are the ones you less expect. Check out these strange team compositions in Genshin Impact.

While he excels in Geo teams, Albedo is a solid general-used off-field DPS that can slot into pretty much any team. His off-field damage, while unable to cause reactions, has some of the highest damage values in the game. He may be a worse version of Chiori, but he’s still one of the finest Mondstadt has to offer.

5

Rosaria

Cryo And Physical Support

Rosaria
is one of the more underrated characters on the list, partially due to Cryo itself not being as widely used as other elements. However, she’s an extremely versatile unit that provides everything from Energy Batterying to Cryo application.

Rosaria’s personal DPS is nothing to scoff at either, dealing similar numbers as Xiangling on each Melt. Furthermore, apart from just helping Melt or Reverse Melt teams, Rosaria becomes an incredible support for Physical characters as well, provided you get her constellations.

4

Sucrose

Best Four-Star Anemo Support

Anemo characters in general are better than most other elements simply due to the ability to hold the Viridesscent Venerer set, one of the best supportive artifact sets in the game. This lets any Anemo character become a strong buffer that shreds Elemental RES of enemies hit by their Swirls.

What makes Sucrose
better than many others, though, is how accessible she is, as well as the additional bonuses she provides. It’s very easy to get all six constellations for her, which means you’ll likely have access to the DMG Bonus she provides at C6. Furthermore, she also gives a huge Elemental Mastery bonus to the active character.

While many consider her to be a discount version of Kazuha, she can be an improvement over the former in some niche compositions, like in some of the best Electro-Charged teams.

3

Venti

Best Crowd Control

Most characters exist for specific archetypes and help in creating certain teams. Shenhe
works for Cryo teams, Fischl is an integral part of most Aggravate setups, and Kazuha and Bennett function as buffers that increase the DPS of any of your existing teams. However, Venti does something no other character can.

Venti doesn’t deal much damage, nor does he increase the damage of your other characters. Instead, he has the single strongest crowd control skill in Genshin Impact, pulling in enemies from far away and letting you damage them all at once.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Chasca

From the Scion of the Blazing Sun to the Chain Breaker, we list the best weapons to use when gearing up Chasca in Genshin Impact.

This makes for a situation where if the enemy can be pulled by Venti, he’s a stronger and more comfortable character than even top tiers like Kazuha. However, since most Bosses and newer foes can’t be pulled, he’s not someone you absolutely need to pull. Still, when he does shine, he shines brighter than anyone else and makes your game a lot easier.

2

Fischl

Best Off-Field Electro

Electro’s identity revolves around hitting light but hitting fast, with reactions like Spread and Aggravate benefitting greatly from the frequency of attacks. While we have good and comparative on-field options like Keqing or Clorinde, Fischl is the uncontested queen of off-field Electro damage and application.

Fischl summons Oz, an Electro manifestation and her trusted bird companion, who shoots out bolts of thunder. While this by itself doesn’t put her above those like Yae Sakura, Fischl also has ways of sending out additional instances of Electro damage with her Ascension Passive and her C6.

The sheer number of strikes Fischl can do often puts her DPS above the hypercarries in Keqing or Clorinde Aggravate teams, making her one of the best characters you can rush to C6.

1

Bennett

Best ATK Buff In The Game

Bennett is arguably the best buffer in Genshin Impact despite being a four-star and has been a part of the meta since the game first came out. Where other characters have their niches and things they’re good at, Bennett can do pretty much anything.

Bennett grants the highest ATK Bonus in the game with his Elemental Burst, bigger and more versatile than other alternatives such as Kujou Sara. Bennett also acts as a decent healer, especially for non-Furina teams. If all of that wasn’t enough, Bennett also applies more units of Pyro while on field than other Pyros, and has decent enough scaling to not fall behind much even as a sub-DPS.
