Ujoy Games has announced the shutdown of service of their dungeon RPG title, Soul Tide on February 28, 2025. This anime-styled game first launched in Japan in 2021, winning multiple awards, and later opened pre-registration for the West in February 2022. After nearly three years of service, the game is finally concluding its journey.

For those unfamiliar with this title, Soul Tide is a dungeon crawl RPG that blends anime girl collection, home simulation, and dungeon exploration. Set in a dark fantasy world ruled by witches, you and other Evokers are destined to turn the tide and save the world from their grasp.
Unfortunately, the Soul Tide team has announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the game will cease all operations on February 28, 2025, explaining, “Our licensing agreement is nearing its conclusion, and after thorough and long discussions with the development team, we have reached the difficult decision to bring the journey of Soul Tide to an end.“

Following this announcement, game downloads and in-game purchases have been already disabled. Moreover, all the game data will be permanently deleted post-shutdown. I suggest you utilize all your remaining resources as there won’t be any refunds, and you can continue enjoying the game until its final day on February 28, 2025.
However, there is a piece of good news for the dedicated fans, as the devs have promised to release a special update in the final month of service. They added, “To provide every Evoker with a memorable farewell in Continent Crescent.”
It is just the first month of this year, and we are already seeing so many games shutting down, like Atelier Resleriana which is ending service on March 28, 2025. Fans have expressed sadness over their beloved game terminating services. Many have praised the game and the devs. Again, they could have released an offline version for long-time players, but alas, another great game is coming to an end.
