Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
has brought back Death Perception, a Perk-A-Cola introduced in Black Ops 4 that grants players the ability to see zombies through walls. While it doesn’t increase your damage or survivability, the utility this perks brings can prove invaluable for surviving higher rounds and close-quarters engagements on small maps.

What Does Death Perception Do?
Death Perception highlights obscured zombies with an orange glow, making it easier to discern where zombies are coming from. The vision extends out to roughly 15 meters by default, although it can be extended further with certain augments. Death Perception has no impact on damage or wall penetration, although it can offer additional benefits with the right augment choices.
How To Get Death Perception
Death Perception can be found as a Perk-A-Cola machine in “The Tomb” Zombies map and all Der Wunderfizz machines. Every map spawns the Der Wunderfizz at Round 25, so if you’re willing to wait and stockpile some Essence, you can purchase Death Perception in any map.
Death Perception Augments
Death Perception has six augments to choose from, three major and three minor. Critical Eye has some synergy with Deadshot Daiquiri’s headshot multiplier, making it quite useful for weapons that fire at a fast RPM like the
PPSH-41
.
Extra Change can also be useful for getting Essence during the earlier rounds, although Bird’s Eye View effectively gives you a permanent UAV for spotting zombies on your minimap. Death Perception’s augments aren’t as transformative as PhD Flopper or Stamin-Up, but they can be quite useful as quality-of-life buffs.
