In Jujutsu Infinite, everyone has their game strategy and understanding of combat, which is clearly expressed in the character builds of the players. Depending on how you invest your Stat Points, your playstyle can change radically, and at first, you can be an unrivaled swordsman, but later start fighting with your bare hands using magic.
One of the game changers is the Chant mechanic, which allows you to significantly enhance your technique when performing a strike. This way, you can not only deal increased damage, but also perform spectacular moves, which makes the game even more exciting and enjoyable. However, not everyone understands how it works, so we are here to help you with this.
How A Chant Mechanic Works
Chant is very similar to another game mechanic – Black Flash, which you will unlock before this one and have the opportunity to practice how it works. If you’ve played with Black Flash and understand how it works, then you shouldn’t have any trouble learning Chant. But if you don’t know how it works, or you haven’t even acquired it yet, we will explain each aspect in more detail.
So, to master Chant, you need to get it first. This can be done by upgrading the purple skill branch – Technique. Here, you can unlock Chanting once you invest Stat Points in Technique Awaken, Technique Increase 1, and Technique Increase 2. This will take quite a while, as you will need to level up a lot to earn enough Stat Points. In addition, you will also need to invest in Focus Awaken to unlock focus tokens.
After completing all of these steps and unlocking Chanting, you can use this mechanic in battle. It works the same way as Black Flash. First, deal some damage to your enemies to accumulate at least one focus token, and then use it to strengthen your attack. A focus token is a purple line divided into three parts, which is located above your HP bar. Once you have accumulated at least one charge, click on the right mouse button and then on the key where the attack you want to strengthen is assigned.
It’s worth noting that you won’t be able to boost all attacks with Chanting, but only the cursed ones. It is not difficult to understand which of your attacks are cursed because their name will be colored purple in the lower right corner of the screen.
On top of that, you can also strengthen entire combinations of attacks, but this is very difficult and requires a lot of practice.
