Riot Games has officially unveiled VALORANT Agent 27, named Tejo. He is a veteran intelligence consultant from Colombia. Tejo’s ballistic guidance system pressures the enemy to relinquish their ground – or their lives. His targeted strikes keep opponents off balance and under his heel. Here’s a quick overview of Tejo’s role and abilities in VALORANT.
VALORANT Tejo Role and Abilities
Agent 27 Tejo takes on the role of Initiator whose primary responsibility is to start fights with opponents by using the following abilities:
Special Delivery
Tejo equips a sticky grenade in this ability which sticks to the first surface it hits. On exploding, it concusses any targets caught in the blast. Players also have the option to ALT fire to throw the grenade with a single bounce.
Stealth Drone
In this, the new VALORANT agent can launch a drone forward, which players can control. You can guide it towards the enemy and fire it to trigger a pulse which suppresses and reveals enemies.
Guided Salvo
Moving on, the next ability for Tejo in VALORANT is the Guided Salvo. This equips an AR targeting system which can be fired onto two locations on the map. Alternatively, the ALT fire allows you to shoot them automatically and they detonate on impact.
(ULT) Armageddon
Last, but definitely the most, we have the ult. This allows the agent to fire a wave of explosions along a strike path.
VALORANT Tejo Release Date
It’s been officially confirmed that Tejo will be released in VALORANT on January 8, 2025, as a part of the Episode 10 Act 1 update.
This act also brings players a new skinline, EX.O. Inspired by futuristic and sci-fi themes, weapons included in EX.O are the Vandal, Sheriff, Spectre, Outlaw and Katana – the EX.O Edge. The all-new Battle Pass will feature items including the Celestia Ghost, Epilogue: Tactical Spacewar Card, Hieroscape Blades (Dual Melee), Moon Scout Outlaw, Scaredy Cow Gun Buddy, and Stellar Dendrite Flex.
