This Game Boy Advance featured a golden case with the Pokemon Logo over the A and B buttons. It also features the words Pokemon Center New York as well as decals of Pichu and Pikachu around the screen.

While this console was already hard to get, it only became rarer with time. A used copy of this Game Boy Advance can run you a couple hundred dollars, but an unopened box with all the packaging included can go well over $1000.

This Nintendo DS Lite may not seem like much at first glance, but considering less than 120 were ever made, it is understandable why they have become so valuable. This Nintendo DS Lite is orange and has the Pokemon World Championship logo on the cover.

These special DS Lites were handed out as prizes for both the TCG’s World Championship as well as the videogame tournament in 2008. The only difference is the logo. With so few in circulation, it is rare to even see one of them crop up on the second-hand market.

However, when they do emerge, they are known to sell anywhere between $1000 and $5000. So look for the special logos on the surface.

The Southern Islands Set

While Pokemon cards themselves are an entirely different breed of collectibles, one set in particular stands out among all the smaller sets. This is the Southern Islands set. These cards were made to promote the Pokemon 2000 Movie and feature plenty of fun and connecting card arts.

This set is one of the few that has its own dedicated collectors’ binder and the cards come inside special envelopes. It’s one of the most unique sets of the Pokemon TCG and while the cards themselves are valuable individually, having the cards in the original binder will ironically go for over $2000.

The Game Boy Micro is one of the strangest Game Boy consoles of all time. This console is meant to be a smaller version of the Game Boy Advance that can fit almost anywhere. While this is mostly a gimmick, some variations such as the Pokemon Edition are some of the rarest consoles of them all.

This red and black Game Boy Micro comes with a Pikachu symbol on the front. However, the box also comes decorated with every starter from Kanto to Hoenn. This makes it a great display option for your Pokemon shelf. The complete set in a near mint condition is known to have sold for $2800.
