We’ll show you how to help repopulate the wild and keep your guests happy while providing for the wide selection of animals in your zoo. Here’s everything you need to know about the conservation efforts going on and how you can play your part!

How To Release Animals

One way to improve your conservation rating is to release animals into the wild. However, not just any animal will do. You’ll want to release animals that have a high fertility stat so they can continue to repopulate their dwindling numbers outside the zoo.

You also want to release animals that are adults–not juveniles or elderly. Releasing animals in their prime gives them the best shot in the wild.

Depending on how well your animal meets these criteria, they’ll have a different star rating. The higher the star rating, the more conservation credits you’ll earn for releasing them into the wild.

Keep in mind that guests will grow attached to animals and higher quality animals will bring in more money. Find a balance!

To release animals into the wild when they’re ready, head over to their habitat and select them. In the menu, select the icon at the bottom to release them into the wild.

You’ll get to confirm your decision after seeing how many credits you’ll get for releasing them, then say goodbye to your animal friend.

This action cannot be undone! Once an animal is released, they’re never coming back.

If you’re attached to your animals, you can always breed more animals with the intent to release them. The wider the variety of animals you breed, the better. You’ll see a higher increase when you release endangered animals!

How To Make Your Park Eco-Friendly

Another way you can raise your conservation rating is to make your park more environmentally friendly. Adding recycling bins around the zoo and swapping to clean energy will help raise this score and make your guests more aware of your efforts.

You can also add conservation education boards to educate your zoo guests.

Rather than using traditional transformers, you can change them out for solar panels or wind turbines. While these may not have as much range, your guests won’t mind seeing them around the zoo as much and appreciate the effort to preserve the environment.
