1. Deleting Past Quest Resources 

This feature is exclusive to the mobile version (iOS and Android). This feature allows mobile users to remove unused quest data to free up storage. However, it’s unavailable for PC users. Follow these steps to delete past quest resources:

• Open the menu by tapping Paimon’s icon in the top-left corner.
• Navigate to Settings.
• Select Resources.
• Go to the Past Quest Resource Management tab and choose Quest Resource Management.
• Tap Uninstall to delete past quest resources.

How to Delete Past Quest Resources in Honkai Star Rail

• Open Honkai: Star Rail and log in.
• Access the main menu and tap the Settings icon (gear icon).
• Navigate to the Account tab (fourth option from the left).
• Find the Resource Management section.
• Switch the option for Auto-delete past mission resources? from No to Yes.

Additional Notes

• Only data from quests you’ve already completed will appear here.
• If you start a new account, you’ll need to redownload the quest data to access those quests again.
• Be cautious when using this feature, as some players have reported persistent redownload prompts when switching back to their main account.
• If you need the resources back, repeat the steps above and select Download Resources Again instead of uninstalling.

2. Removing Language Voice-Over Files

Another way to reduce file size is by uninstalling unnecessary language voice-over files:

• Open the menu and go to Settings.
• Select Language.
• Tap Manage Voice-Over Files.
• Choose the language(s) you don’t use and press Uninstall.

If you’re still struggling with storage space, uninstalling and reinstalling the game can sometimes help optimize its size. This is a last-resort option but can be effective.
