The AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle is set to arrive in Black Ops 6 and Warzone soon, but you’ll need to unlock it before trying it out on the battlefield.
Snipers have proven to be highly effective in Warzone since the start of Season 1 and another powerful option to set to join the game. Arriving as a part of CODMAS content, the AMR Mod 4 can dish out a ton of damage but it does suffer from high recoil. In the hands of a seasoned player, the sniper can down enemies with successive shots at long range, making it a weapon well worth investing time into.

How to unlock AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle in Warzone and BO6
The AMR Mod 4 is available as a free reward in the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event. The holiday-themed event kicks off on December 19 and you’ll have until January 3 to unlock the weapon. To get it, you’ll have to open all 12 presents, after which you’ll receive the sniper as the mastery reward.
The event revolves around collectible items called Jolly Archies, which you can earn by killing enemies or opening Supply Caches in Warzone, Zombies, and multiplayer. Once you collect enough Jolly Archies to unlock all the presents in the Events screen, you’ll get the AMR Mod 4 rifle.
In case you miss out on the event, the weapon will likely be added to the Armory, giving you another chance to grab it. The weapon seems worth the effort, especially if its description in the pre-release blog is anything to go by.
As stated in the blog, the powerful sniper rifle can provide “a one-shot elimination across the upper body not accounting for armor.” The blog also highlighted its shortcomings, “Its high damage is balanced by slow aim speed and heavy recoil, though these drawbacks can be alleviated with the right attachments. However you customize it, this thing is guaranteed to hit hard.”
