Warframe 1999 is the latest content drop for Digital Extreme’s sci-fi online shooter, and with it came a new Warframe to farm, craft, and add to the Tenno arsenal. Cyte-09 is an expert marksman, equipped with a powerful intrinsic Sniper Rifle as his main weapon and able to support its team with ammo drops that empower elemental damage. If players want to deal a lot of damage from a safe distance, this Warframe is the right choice.

Warframe Codes (December 2024)
In this article, players will find all of the active (and expired) codes for Warframe.
Players who want to get their hands on Cyte-09’s Blueprint and parts should pay attention because this guide will explain all the steps required for them to craft this powerful new infiltrator Warframe. But, first things first: this guide will delve into the new Adventure, how to complete it, and how to unlock Cyte-09 Blueprint.
How To Get Cyte-09 Blueprint In Warframe 1999
To get Cyte-09, players will first need to complete the new adventure called “The Hex,” which will take players back in time to an alternate timeline, on the eve of December 31, 1999, to help Arthur Nightingale (the first Excalibur) and his crew to find Albretch Entrati in a race against time through the sordid streets of Höllvania.
Completing the Hex is quite straightforward, but it is a time-consuming mission and will block players from accessing any of the other activities of the game during the whole playthrough (approximately one hour). As with similar adventures like The Duviri Paradox, players will have to introduce a password to start the Quest: KALYMOS.
After that, players will be teleported to the start of the mission, in the body of Arthur Knightingale and his Excalibur protosuit. Arthur has the same abilities as a base Excalibur Warframe, and he is also equipped with the AX-52 Rifle and the Vesper 77 Silenced semi-automatic pistol. He also carries a proto-version of the Skana with the Crimson Dervish Guard mod.
How To Complete The Hex In Warframe 1999
Completing the full Questline doesn’t take more than one hour, and it’s pretty straightforward. Players will have to complete the following objectives:
- Happy Y2K!: Use Arthur to track down Albretch Entrati and fight off the Scaldra forces.
- Exterminate: Kill all the Scaldra forces and open up a path for Arthur and his crew to rescue Entrati from Rusalka and Vodyanoi.
- Hell-Scrub – 10-Minute Survival: Fight off the Techrot (Infested) for a period of time, and use the Beacons to restore Life-Support.
- Chase The Prisoner Transport: With Aoi on the Wheel, use the RPG to shoot down the convoy and rescue Entrati. Then, shoot Rusalka down using the back of the truck as cover.
- Decision time: Pick either of the three choices; the outcome won’t vary much.
- Who’s On Point: Pick any of the available Protoframes from The Hex for an Extermination mission.
- Using Eleonor, destroy the Techrot Pods and defeat the hivemind queen Legacyte.
- Cutscene in the Zariman: Follow the echoes through the Zariman using the Drifter and seek the truth revealed by the Indifference.
- PARTY OF YOUR LIFETIME: Amir and the rest of The Hex crew will have to infiltrate the reactor. Follow the story while controlling the rest of the crew until the final cutscene.
After completing the last sequence and seeing the Drifter use his Duviri-acquired time manipulation powers to reset the simulation into a loop, players will be able to access Höllvania Shopping Mall — a new Hub that’s the lair of The Hex, as well as receive an Inbox communication with the Cyte-09 Warframe blueprint.
The Blueprint will require the
Neuroptics
,
Chasis
, and
Systems of Cyte-09
to be crafted, as well as one
Orokin Cell
.

What to Expect From Warframe: 1999’s New Minigame
Despite its seemingly smaller presence, Warframe: 1999’s new minigame, Caliber Chicks 2, has a lot to offer for the game’s players.
How To Farm Cyte-09 Parts In Warframe
Players will have to return to Höllvania Shopping Mall to take the new syndicate missions, in which they will complete certain objectives throughout the new Open World map, collect new materials (needed to level up Faction reputation as well as to construct Cyte-09), and earn rewards.
The following missions need to be farmed in order to get every part for the new Warframe:
- Energy Overload (Enemy Level 65-70) Survival – Possible Rewards: Cyte-09 Chassis Blueprint
- From On-High (Enemy Level 75-80) Survival – Possible Rewards: Cyte-09 Neuroptics Blueprint
- Energy Overload (Enemy Level 85-90) Exterminate – Possible Rewards: Cyte-09 Systems Blueprint
The good part is that, since the first two are Survival Missions, there are more chances to get the Parts needed to build the new Warframe, since they have a probability of dropping on rotations. The Exterminate missions will be tricky to farm, and players will need to repeat them a lot since Systems usually take longer to drop than the rest of the blueprints.
How To Craft Cyte-09 In Warframe
Once players have all the blueprints needed to build Cyte-09, it’s time to go back to the Orbiter’s forge to create each of the parts. Here’s what players need to craft every part, and how long it takes to be built:
- Cyte-09 Chassis Blueprint: Höllvanian Pitchweave Fragment x200, Experimental Arc-Relay x6, Techrot Motherboard x8, Alloy Plate x1000, and 15000 Credits. It takes 12 hours (real time) to be completed.
- Cyte-09 Neuroptics Blueprint: Efervon Sample x60, Techrot Chitin x40, Neural Sensors x2, Argon Crystal x1, and 15000 Credits. It takes 12 hours (real time) to be completed.
- Cyte-09 Systems Blueprint: Efervon Sample x20, Circuits x500, Experimental Arc-Relay x4, Techrot Motherboard x6, and 15000 Credits. It takes 12 hours (real time) to be completed.
- Cyte-09 Warframe: Cyte-09 Chassis, Cyte-09 Neuroptics, Cyte-09 Systems, Orokin Cell x1, and 25000 Credits. It takes 72 hours (real time) to be completed.
Circuits, Credits, and the Orokin Cell are not going to be a problem even for rookie players, but the rest of the components needed to craft this new Warframe will have to be farmed inside the Höllvania maps. So, grab that atomicycle and get some grinding going. In the worst-case scenario, there’s a chance to obtain other great rewards, like the blueprints for Weapons and reputation with The Hex that can be used to get other goodies from the various vendors.
Remember that
Argon Crystals
needed for the Neuroptics disappear after 24 hours in the Inventory, as they’re the only resource that does that. Keep this in mind and craft the Neuroptics as soon as possible.
