Each decision they make will draw them closer to either the Dark or the Light Side of the Force, impacting how their companions view them, their powers, and more. Naturally, choosing the path of righteousness is almost always more difficult, which is why a lot of players opt for pursuing the Dark Side and making their lives easier. Here are the most evil choices players can make in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
6 Kill The Giant Firaxan Shark
A Rash Decision That Impacts Billions
- Killing the giant Firaxan Shark has dire consequences
- Poisoning the Kolto source raises the price of medical supplies
Manaan is an aquatic world filled with intelligent species known as Selkath. It was first introduced in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and has some of the most complex biomes from its time. While many of the planet’s inhabitants live above the water’s surface, there are other creatures, such as Firaxan Sharks, that still dwell on the ocean floor. On their quest for a part of the Star Map in Manaan, players will have to solve a puzzle involving a couple of pressurized containers.
Players can either choose to destroy the facility that’s mining the natural resources off the rift on the ocean floor or poison the giant Firaxan Shark that guards the Star Map. If players choose the latter, not only will they kill an ancient creature, but also risk poisoning the Kolto supply, affecting billions of beings who need medical assistance.
5 Kill The Wookie In The Shadowlands
An Unnecessary Kill That Brings Nothing Good
- Killing the Wookie in the Shadowlands is not recommended, as he could later be an ally
- Chuundar’s words must not be trusted
Kashyyyk is considered by many to be one of the best planets in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and with good reason. Not only is this planet the home of the mysterious Wookies, but it also touches on important aspects, such as societal issues, corporate takeover and monarchical blood feuds.

Clothing options always helps players feel more immersed and unique, and these are some of the best options for Cal.
When players first meet Chuundar, the Chieftain of his people, he will task them with finding an aggressive Wookie in the Shadowlands who has apparently lost his mind. When players encounter said Wookie, they will soon realize that it’s sane—more so than Chuundar. Players can choose to either kill the Wookie, or give him a Medpac so he can survive his wounds. Naturally, choosing the former is extremely evil.
4 Kill Juhani
A Merciless Act Against A Lost Soul
- Juhani killed her master in anger, making her feel like there was no return from that point
- She can join players’ parties if they spare her
As players look for part of the Star Map on Dantooine, the Jedi Council at the Academy there will task them with finding a lost Padawan who has apparently been consumed by the Dark Side. Once players arrive at the Tainted Grove, they will encounter Juhani, and she will attack them while also freezing players’ companions, making this a 1v1 fight.
Once players defeat her, they will have the choice to either spare her life and bring her back to the Light Side or kill her for her transgressions. Juhani had the potential to be a mighty Dark Jedi, but it’s undeniable that she’s even better as a regular one.
3 Kill The Tusken In Tatooine
Dialogue Is Always The Better Choice
- Players will get paid a flat fee for every Gaffi stick they collect
- Slaughtering the Tusken camp is extremely evil
When players arrive at Tatooine to look for yet another fragment of the Star Map, they will have to get a hunter’s license issued by the Czerka Corporation in order to head past the giant iron gate at Anchorhead. When they go to the offices to get their license, an employee there will ask them if they want to make some extra Credits. Provided players say they do, she will say that Tusken raiders have been giving them a lot of trouble and will mention that the Czerka Corporation will pay a good price for every Gaffi stick they are given.
If players care more about Credits than Tusken lives, they can go to the Tusken camp and slaughter everyone there to get tons of Gaffi sticks, even the Cheiftain’s, which is more valuable.
2 Side With Chuundar
The Czerka Corporation Is The Ultimate Evil In The Galaxy
- Siding with Chuundar means backing an evil corporation
- Zaalbars demeanor towards players will change significantly if they choose this outcome
As soon as players arrive at Kashyyyk, they will quickly notice that the planet is in the midst of a massive corporate takeover by the Czerka Corporation. As they explore the planet, players will get to see atrocious displays of slavery, forced labor, and displacement of the planet’s natives, which clearly makes the Czerka Corporation one of the most evil factions in the galaxy.

Players can choose to side with Chuundar, which, by association, means siding with the Czerka Corp.
1 Kill Your Friends
The Ultimate Betrayal, Fit For A Sith Lord
- Players can side with Dark Side Bastila at the temple
- Killing companions at the temple is exactly what Darth Revan would have done
This is, without a doubt, the most evil choice players can make in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Players who’ve not reached the late stages of the game should be wary, as there are major spoilers ahead. When players and their party members get to the end of the temple located in Rakata Prime, they will encounter Dark Side Bastila.
If players choose to go down the path of darkness, they can talk to Bastila and convince her to help them slay Darth Malak so they can rule the galaxy together as the most powerful Sith in history. Naturally, choosing this outcome will force players’ former companions to fight them. Considering that players’ allies stood by them even after learning their former identity as Darth Revan, choosing to slay them for power is an unforgivable act.
