Helldivers 2 Urban Legends Lets Players Become Spartan Warriors
In addition to the new weapons, players can complete their Spartan Warror-inspired gear by equipping the SR-18 Roadblock heavy armor. The helmet features a crest, resembling the ancient warrior’s helmet style, as well as pauldrons that are a little more bulky. As an alternative, players can instead equip the SR-24 Street Scout, light armor that allows for faster movement. Both sets come with the Siege Ready passive boost, increasing primary weapon reload speed by 30% and ammo capacity by another 20%, perfect for taking down The Voteless within the Helldivers 2 Omens of Tyranny update.
While this latest update has proven to be a popular one with fans, some have wondered what’s next for the popular multiplayer shooter. While unofficial, one leaker has indicated Helldivers 2 could be crossing over with Killzone. Largely dormant now, as developer Guerrilla Games focuses on the Horizon series, Killzone was a popular FPS franchise for Sony and could be a great candidate to bring content into a game like Helldivers 2.
