Ninja Reveals Most Money He’s Ever Made in One Month as a Streamer

In a recent interview, popular Twitch streamer Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins revealed that he once made a staggering $6.7 million during his best earning month as a content creator. Ninja stated that the money came when his Twitch streams revolved around playing Fortnite with celebrities and other content creators at the time.

As one of the biggest names in content creation, Ninja’s career began in 2009, when he was a professional Halo 3 player. Since then, Ninja has played other titles, including H1Z1 and PUBG: Battlegrounds. However, Ninja carved a name for himself in 2017 and 2018, when Fortnite launched in early access with its Save the World and Battle Royale modes. On December 6, Fortnite returned to its roots with the launch of Fortnite OG, a separate game mode that takes players back to the original map, complete with music, sounds, and menus from the game’s early access days. Fortnite OG attracted over 1.1 million players within its first two hours.

During a discussion about how much money fellow content creator Myth earned from YouTube, Ninja stated that one of his best-earning months as a streamer had similar numbers. Ninja said in an interview with FaZe Clan’s Stable Ronaldo that he once earned approximately $6.7 million in monthly revenue during his “prime Ninj” days. In March 2018, Ninja became the first Twitch Partner to reach over three million followers. During that same month, Ninja had a record-setting stream with over 635,000 viewers, as he played Fortnite with celebrities Drake, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Travis Scott. Ronaldo said that was a “disgusting” amount that Ninja made in a single month, and Ninja added that he had never mentioned how much he earned until Ronaldo asked. Ninja streamed on Mixer from 2019 to 2020 and returned to Twitch following Mixer’s closure. Since then, Ninja’s broadcasts have been on various platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.

Although other Twitch streamers like Kai Cenat continue to set subscriber records of their own, Ninja’s earnings in a single month remain a testament to how lucrative content creation can be. Only time will tell what 2025 has in store for Twitch and other streaming services.
