The game has been released on PS3 as part of an HD collection, ported to PS4, and has now had a fresh version released on PS4 and PS5.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy has been added to PS Plus Premium, and like other PS2 games added to the service recently, this has seen it come with a brand-new list of trophies to unlock. The Jak and Daxter trophy list for the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game were mainly about advancing the story, though players were also rewarded for collecting all the Scout Flies, Power Cells, and Precursor Orbs.
