His unique abilities, including his unmatched durability and devastating ranged options, make him a versatile and formidable fighter. Whether you prefer to dominate from a distance or crush foes up close, Fused Zamasu’s moveset offers a divine balance of power and precision. In this guide, we’ll cover his strengths, abilities, and even his corrupted transformation.

Fusion Rules

While it depends on the type of content you most often play, you’ll usually be better off picking Fused Zamasu directly rather than fusing into it. However, if you’re adamant about fusing, there are a few things you should know about the fusion since it functions a bit differently from other fusions.

For starters, you only get half a health bar extra rather than a full extra bar. He also has significantly less defensive stats when compared to other fusions, so he isn’t the ultimate weapon he might have appeared as in the show.

To even fuse into this Zamasu, you need the original Zamasu and Goku Black in your team. It is easier to fuse as Zamasu, since Goku Black needs to be in his Super Saiyan Rose state to fuse, but he automatically transforms into it if you fuse while controlling Zamasu.

Since Fused Zamasu works much like Zamasu, that is the character you should practice with the most when playing, particularly the access to healing. Goku Black, on the other hand, only really shines as Super Saiyan Rose, with instant access to Sparking Mode and the skill Instant Transmission.

Fused Zamasu In Versus And Online Matches

Fused Zamasu is a great character to master, with a fast moveset with many follow-ups, a decent way to loop his basic Ki blasts, and even a way to fire an unblockable Ki blast if you charge it while standing still. He may not have the health other fusions have, but he still has more health than most characters in the game (half a bar extra).

Speaking of health, this Zamasu (just like his unfused version) is able to heal himself with the skill Immortal Body; he doesn’t recover his entire health back, but he recovers most of a single bar at the cost of four Skill Count.

His other skill puts him in Sparking Mode almost instantly, a much-needed skill for any competitive character. Due to the nature of Zamasu, you can pretend to be using a skill by emoting, making your opponent attempt to rush you and having them waste resources.

Fused Zamasu Half-Corrupted In Versus And Online Matches

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero image showing Fused Zamasu while half corrupted about to attack.

Technically speaking, the half-corrupted form of Zamasu deals more damage, but you need to be able to hit your opponent to do so. Since this new form is slow, most experienced players will have an easy time countering most of its moves, and the Supers available to this form are nothing of note.

The main strength of the non-corrupted version was its skills, both of which change after entering this form. Gone are the healing and the instant Sparking, replaced with some simple stat buffs and the ever reliable Explosive Wave, something needed when using slow characters.

In truth, you are better off staying as the initial version of Fused Zamasu, since your Skill Count is best used for entering Sparking or healing rather than transforming. Of course, you can also transform to flex against your opponent, but much of the style of Zamasu is lost once he becomes corrupted.
