Though Indiana Jones may have the face of Harrison Ford and an almost identical voice to Harrison Ford’s Indy in The Great Circle, the main snake-despising protagonist is actually voiced by Troy Baker. It couldn’t have found a better actor to encapsulate the role of Indy than Baker, one of the most prominent figures working in voiceover today.

Troy Baker’s resume is too long to list out. Most famously, he’s the voice of Joel Miller in The Last of Us series and Pagan Min in Far Cry 4 and Joker, Two-Face, Robin, and Jason Todd in the Arkham games. Other roles include Higgs Monaghan in Death Stranding, Samuel Drake in Uncharted, Loki in Marvel Rivals, Apollo in Stray Gods, Talion in the Middle-Earth games, and Ozymandias in the animated Watchmen films.

Ginetta ‘Gina’ Lombardi

It wouldn’t be an Indiana Jones adventure without the titular hero getting a strong companion along for the ride. In The Great Circle, that would be Gina Lombardi, an Italian journalist who joins the globetrotting adventure in hopes of finding the truth about her missing sister, with Jones’s mutual enemy possibly being behind her disappearance.

Gina is portrayed by Italian actress Alessandra Mastronardi, who you might remember from Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal’s 2022 movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent as Gabriela. Mastronardi was also Milly in To Rome with Love, Francesca in Netflix’s Master of None, and Lucrezia Donati in the TV series Medici.

Emmerich Voss

Marios Gavrilis

The main Nazi antagonist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is Emmerich Voss, who is chasing Indy across the globe in a race to unlock the secrets of the Great Circle. Voss’ vile evilness, psychological aspects, and overall character portrayal can even stand to rival the performances of Mads Mikkelsen’s Voller and Ronald Lacey’s Toht from the films.

That’s all a credit to his German voice actor Marios Gavrilis, who was also the German voice of protagonist Sam Porter Bridges in Death Stranding, Alexios in AC Odyssey, Bruce Wayne and Batman in Gotham Knights, Serka in Shadow of War, and Ravus Nox Fleuret in Final Fantasy 15.

The late horror legend and icon Tony Todd got to appear in one final momentous video game role as Locus in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Father Antonio is the Vatican priest Indy knows from his time in the Great War. He’s a former soldier who decided to turn to religion and become a priest after fighting on the battlefields of WW1 and now helps Indiana Jones at the Vatican on the eve of WW2. He’s portrayed by actor Enrico Colantoni.

As this is his first video game role, you’ll best know Enrico Colantoni as Veronica Mars’ father, Keith Mars, throughout its CW and Hulu run. Other notable TV show and movie roles for Colantoni include Principal Grant Moretti in FX’s The English Teacher, Brian in Station Eleven, Sergeant Greg Parker in Flashpoint, Mathesar in Galaxy Quest, Dennis French in Contagion, and photographer Elliot DiMauro in Just Shoot Me.

Nawal Shafiq-Barclay

Indy and Gina’s journey will take them to Egypt and the Great Pyramids of Giza, where the adventurer duo will meet with an associate of Gina’s and Marcus Brody’s, Dame Nawal Shafiq-Barclay. She’s a collector of ancient artifacts with a shipping business, who will help them work against the Nazis. This character is played by Necar Zadegan.

Necar Zadegan is active in both TV and video games. She’s Special Agent Hannah Khoury in NCIS: New Orleans, D.A. Evelyn Foley in Mayor of Kingstown, Dr. Ko in The Good Doctor, Delia Banai in Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, and Dalia Hassan in 24. Zadegan also voices Ourea in Horizon Zero Dawn, Ruby Roundhouse in Jumanji: The Video Game, and miscellaneous voices across Diablo 4 The Elder Scrolls Online.

Necar Zadegan also starred on Broadway alongside Robin Williams in Rajiv Joseph’s award-winning play Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.

Pailin And Uncle Sunan

Grace Vorananth And Vithaya Pansringarm

After their time in the Himalayas, Indiana Jones and Gina Lombardi would venture next to Sukhothai in Siam (what would later be Thailand). There, they meet a female rebel fighter with a missing right eye named Pailin Chaladphukhealom, who takes them to her uncle, Sunan’s, village, where Voss has already paid a visit. Indy will show off his Thai language skills to Sunan and must ‘prove himself’ to be worthy of their trust.

Pailin is the first of hopefully many video game voice acting roles for Thai model and winner of The Face Thailand Season 3, Grace Vorananth. She also previously starred in the Thai adventure TV show Pachara Montra as Rattanathewi and the film Art of Eight Limbs as Mae.

Vithaya Pansringarm is the voice of Pailin’s Uncle Sunan. Pansringarm is a Thai actor and martial artist known for the role of Chavoret in The Last Executioner, Chang in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Only God Forgives, General Anupong in Prime Video’s Thirteen Lives, Officer Preecha in A Prayer Before Dawn, and Cho in the Art of Eight Limbs alongside Grace Vorananth.

Viktor Gantz is a Nazi colonel and the right-hand man of Emmerich Voss, who Indy will encounter in Gizeh and then again in the snowy Himalayas region, where Gantz will break into his hilarious “Choo choo” monologue criticizing American society, beer, and cartoons. Like Voss, Gantz is also played by a notable German voice actor.

Tom Beck is the voice behind Nazi antagonist Viktor Gantz, and his most well-known character role is Ben Jäger in the TV show Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei and the racing game series Crash Time that’s based on the show. He’s also the protagonist Felix ‘Einstein’ Winterberg in the German television show Einstein and Marc Wessling in Prime Video’s You Are Wanted.
