What Is Express Gift?
Express Gift is an event during which you can quickly and easily claim a free five-star character from the standard banner, just by logging into Honkai: Star Rail.
How Do I Claim My Free Five-Star Character?
It’s very simple, just follow these steps:
- Log into Honkai: Star Rail
- Go to theTravel Log
- Select Express Gift
- Choose from one of seven characters by clicking their banner
- Select Claim Character
It’s that simple. There are no prerequisites or quest requirements for this process.
How Do I Claim My Ten Free Warps?
You can also claim up to ten free warps (pulls) for any limited time banner, just for continuing to log in. You’ll need to log in on seven separate days before the event ends to claim them all.
The rewards are split as follows:
- Days One, Two, Four, Five, And Six: One Warp
- Day Three: Two Warps
- Day Seven: Three Warps
You
do not have to sign in for seven consecutive days.
Just sign in on seven different 24-hour periods over the course of the event.

When claiming the ten warps, these are for the Star Rail Special Pass, which can be used on any of the limited time banners.
How Long Do The Events Run For?
At the time of the update, the banner states a run time of just over 167 days, meaning it will expire on either Tuesday, May 20 or Wednesday, May 21, 2025, depending on timezones.
Given that historically, Tuesday and Wednesday are when updates and banners are changed, it’s likely that there will be an update to coincide with this event ending. However, you have plenty of time to claim before then, over five months in fact!
