In Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, there’s a second locked chest that players will find in a Cellar in the Vatican City containing some loot.

How to Solve the Polybius Square Puzzle in the Father and Son Mystery

Players can find the Polybius Square puzzle at the top of Borgia Tower, which can be accessed via Giuliana’s Key in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. Heading into the room, you’ll find two pieces of notes that hint at the code for the safe. The first note is an Italian Poem with some letters encircled, and the second one is a Polybius Square Diagram.

Dont forget to pick up Throttle Adventure Book which will allow you to unlock a skill to take out light to medium-weight enemies with a whip pull.

The Location of Father and Son Polybius Puzzle in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle

In case you’ve missed going into the locked room in Borgia Tower’s Courtyard, you can still go to it even after the “A Nun In Trouble” Fieldwork is complete. Here’s how to head over to it.


  1. Start at the Belvedere Courtyard and go behind the big Mussolini Poster to climb up into the Apostolic Palace.
  2. After entering through the window, head right, through the double doors, and into the Borgia Tower section.
  3. Keep climbing up until you reach the floor with a broken wall to the right and a beam in the middle. Use the bullwhip to cross the gap and reach the other side.
  4. Use the Giuliana’s Key to open the locked door to enter the Borgia Courtyard.
  5. There’s another locked door here. You’ll need to use the key again to open it and enter a room with the Polybius Puzzle to solve the Father and Son Mystery.
