What Is An Ace Kill?
An Ace kill signifies you single-handedly eliminated all six players on the opposing team in quick succession. This feat requires exceptional skill, strategy, and often a bit of luck, as it typically demands precise timing, mastery over your character’s abilities, and situational awareness.
When you achieve an Ace kill, the game will display a pop-up notification on the right side of your screen to announce it.
What Does Ace By My Icon Mean?
On the other hand, the term ‘Ace’ can also appear in a different context during a match, specifically when looking at the scoreboard. If you notice the word ‘Ace’ by your icon mid-game, it does not imply you achieved an Ace kill.
Instead, this indicates you are currently the highest-performing player on your team, making you the match’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) or Secondary Valuable Player (SVP) at that point. To maintain this status and secure the MVP or SVP title for the match’s conclusion, you’ll need to continue your strong performance and, ideally, lead your team to victory.
