Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shares similarities with a lot of games. Somewhat surprisingly, you will encounter Far Cry-style camp infiltration objectives that require you to creep around while trying to stay out of sight as much as you can.
In Sukhothai, you will need some money to buy the Rebreather item required to progress the main story. To get that money, a Fieldwork quest called Voss’ Gold Stash will start, and you’ll need to head to an encampment at the other end of the swamp. However, once you’re there, getting the money is far from simple.
Getting Into The Camp
Actually getting into the camp without being caught is probably the toughest part of the Fieldwork quest. Once you’ve made your way to the right area, you need to pick a way to enter the place that’s swarming with bad guys.
Instead of taking the obvious choice, which involves the big bridge that acts as a front gate, head to the right side of the camp and leave your boat a little way off from the area.
Then, creep around the right-hand side of the camp, not actually entering it, until you’re on the far right corner of it, right by the scaffolding at the back.
From there, you can jump up onto the structure and avoid most of the Nazis who will attack on sight. Then, head into the large office room from the door at the back of the camp. Be careful, as there are three armed guards in here. You can either take them out loudly or creep past them and go up the stairs on one side of the room.
In there, you’ll encounter a captain you need to take out quietly, as well as a locked safe.
Don’t take out the captain with guns, as you’ll alert the guards that still litter the camp, including those in the room below you. You won’t be alive for long if you make too much noise.
Opening Voss’ Safe And Getting Gold Bars
Once you’ve knocked the captain out, you’ll be able to grab the combination instructions from his body, allowing you to open the safe.
The note he has says that the code is 5484, so open the safe using it. Inside, you’ll find four gold bars worth a total of $2,000.
Be sure to take a picture of Voss’ camp from the balcony before you leave to get those bonus Adventure Points.
You can now head back to Gina and the vendor to buy the Rebreather and carry on with the main quest.
