How to Find an Oni Mask in Fortnite
Like a lot of the better Fortnite items, the Oni Mask is partially down to look when looting. Players have to be willing to accept the fate of the RNG gods for the early part of the game. They might be some of the best new weapons in Chapter 6, but they aren’t an every-game part of your loadout.
A little later in though, and there are guaranteed spawn points. These are the spots to find an Oni Mask in Fortnite:

The most likely way to find an Oni mask for most players in Fortnite is the simplest, random loot. Like other high level Fortnite items they have a chance of dropping out of a chest. Not a high one, but a chance all the same. They’re also in the special elemental chests this season too.
You can stumble on these in normal loot locations if you look long enough. However, they’re rarer. It also seems the Fire Oni mask is a lot more common than the Void one. For some reason, it’s coming out of chests more reliably. Whether that’s well-balanced or frustrating depends on your view, since the Void mask is one of the best items in the game right now.

Guaranteed Locations to Find an Oni Mask in Fortnite

How to Find an Oni Mask in Fortnite – Mythics
One of the easiest ways to grab one is the new boss fight. It’s a guaranteed spawn, so no need to fuss with RNG. However, there are downsides.
The boss that drops this mask spawns in at the end of the game. It’s replaced the floating island. Defeat the oversized boss to receive his Mythic along with other items.

Since this spawns in so late, your guaranteed chance to get an Oni Mask in Fortnite won’t last very long. It’s also the fire mask, not the more helpful Void mask. However, it has extra charges which should make those endgame fights easier. Picking this up along with the new medallion could make a big difference in winning this season. We’ll have to see if this boss fight stays in the game for tournaments, it could have a major effect on matches and Fortnite betting for esports events.
