Video: Konami Uploads Suikoden Opening Trailer Ahead Of I & II HD Remaster Release

V is great, but it does have a notoriously slow start. You know the cliched “You have to play this game __ hours before it gets good”? I swear Suikoden V invented that term, haha. It really does take about a dozen hours before it gets going. Even I have a hard time remembering that because I’ve tried to replay it several times in the last several years and the opening hours really hang me up. I do really like III and V, and IV is decent enough. I would like to see all them get remastered, as well. III and IV could especially use a fresh coat of paint. Since V went with the top-down isometric view I think it’s aged better, but I bet they could make the environments look really pretty now. Hopefully they don’t muck this first collection up, because I’m really looking forward to it.
