Fortnite: Godzilla Skin Release Date

The King of Monsters himself, Godzilla, has made his way to the Fortnite Battle Royale island in Chapter 6 Season 1. While this behemoth titan is expected to roam the Battle Royale map sometime in the future, players can actually obtain a mini-sized version of the kaiju to add to their lockers so that they can run around Battle Royale as their very own Godzilla.

Fortnite returns with Chapter 6 Season 1 with its Hunters season, and the Battle Pass features a few original goodies among its titan collabs.

Godzilla is a part of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 experience, and those who have the Battle Pass for 1,000 V-Bucks will be able to unlock him as a skin to use. However, like most secret skins in the Battle Pass, Godzilla is a waiting game, so players need to be patient before Godzilla can be claimed.

When Does Godzilla Release in Fortnite?

Godzilla is exclusive to the Chapter 6 Season 1 Battle Pass, and Godzilla can be obtained on January 17, 9 AM ET. Godzilla hasn’t been released just yet, but on January 17, he will have a set of quests that players must complete in Battle Royale in order to unlock him and his additional cosmetics, which haven’t just yet been revealed. Considering this version of Godzilla is Godzilla Evolved from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024), it is expected that his cosmetics will reflect his time in the MonsterVerse.
