Ahead of Ghost of Yotei, grab Ghost of Tsushima at its best price yet

When it comes to my most anticipated games for 2025, Ghost of Yotei is top of the list. While there are plenty of excellent upcoming titles, Ghost of Tsushima is one of my favorite games of all time, and if you’ve yet to try this former PlayStation exclusive, this Black Friday weekend sale is a great opportunity.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best action-adventure games that PlayStation published in the PS4 era, and the new port makes the title worthy of the best PC games list. Delivering an incredible narrative, excellent samurai combat, and some of the most breathtaking environments I’ve ever seen, I had no shame buying it at full price again on PC.

Our Ghost of Tsushima review gave it an excellent 9/10 score, adding that the game is “A masterclass in open-world game design and a thrilling samurai epic in its own right.” It’s easily one of the best open-world games in the last few years, and one that hooked me much more than any other in recent memory.

For those looking to enjoy a trip to the island of Tsushima over the holidays, Fanatical’s Black Friday sale has brought the game down to just $41.99 / £34.99, a 30% discount that drops it to its lowest price ever. This includes the base game and the post-launch ‘Iki Island’ expansion, meaning you’ll be able to experience all of protagonist Jin Sakai’s story from beginning to end. Great timing with the sequel, as Ghost of Yotei’s just around the corner.

However, you don’t have long to pick up a copy at 30% off, as this sale ends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT. So, if you’re looking for a great stealth game to play to cap the year off, now’s your chance. Don’t miss out.

If I haven’t sold you on Ghost of Tsushima, and a trailer doesn’t do it justice, let’s just say that I love this game so much, I got a tattoo of it. Jin’s moral dilemma on whether to break the Samurai code and dishonor his uncle, or let the people of Tsushima die at the hands of the Mongol invasion, is as enticing as it is gripping, and the combat is fast-paced, fluid, and challenging. I recommend playing on the hardest difficulty for the full experience.

While I highly suggest giving Ghost of Tsushima a try with this Black Friday sale, there are plenty of other great deals going around too.
