Best CS2 Pick’Ems For PW Shanghai Major 2024

It’s that time of the year again – the next CS2 Major is here, and Valve has officially launched the in-game Pick’Ems for the PW Shanghai Major 2024. We’re on the hunt for that Diamond coin – follow along for the best CS2 Pick’Ems around.

Full disclosure – at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, we only managed to secure a Gold coin, so follow at your own risk. We made the mistake of backing Team Spirit in the Playoffs last time, but let’s be real – who predicted NAVI to win the Major at that point in time?

PW Shanghai Major 2024 Opening Stage picks

So far, the Opening Stage is the only available stage for your CS2 Pick’Ems right now. As we progress further into the PW Shanghai Major 2024, you’ll have the opportunity to stake your claim in the Elimination Stage and Playoffs. For now, you have to keep yourself in the running for the Diamond coin by making at least 5/10 correct picks in the Opening Stage.

Here are our CS2 Pick’Ems for the Opening Stage:

Virtus.pro and Liquid are risky 3:0 picks, but we’ve got our fingers crossed. We think Cloud9, Complexity, The MongolZ and paiN are all good to qualify while losing at least one game though. Down in the 0:3 picks, Rare Atom should be safe, but Passion UA could surprise in the best-of-ones. We rate FlyQuest, Imperial, and Wildcard higher than them, though.

When will other CS2 Pick’Ems stages become available?

The next stage of the CS2 Pick’Ems usually unlocks a few hours after the matches finish. This allows Valve the necessary time to input the results, while also giving players ample time to select their Pick’Ems for the next stage.

Just remember to do your CS2 Pick’Ems for future stages. It would be irritating to actually guess the picks correctly and forget to input them in-game. We’ll keep this article updated whenever the new set of Pick’Ems go live with our predictions – let’s just hope we get them right.
