The LW3A1 Frostline is one of the first sniper rifles you can unlock in Warzone Season 1 and the right set of attachments will help you use the best loadout possible.
Although the LW3A1 Frostline struggles in BO6 multiplayer, it’s a solid choice in Warzone Season 1. The Frostline is naturally suited for long-range fights but its slower handling can be a turn-off for some. So, use the attachments below to create the best LW3A1 Frostline loadout and get the most from it.
Best LW3A1 Frostline loadout
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Stock Pad: Lightweight Pad
- Comb: Quickdraw Riser
- Fire Mods: 7.62 NATO Overpressured
Charlie IntelUsing a sniper and not attaching a Suppressor to it doesn’t make much sense. Apart from reducing gunfire sounds, it also prevents your position from being revealed on the mini-map. The Long Barrel will extend the much-needed damage range, improving the LW3A1’s long-range effectiveness.
The Lightweight Pad greatly improves the aiming idle sway (by 13%) thereby improving the accuracy of the sniper. Coming to the comb, attach the Quickdraw Riser to significantly improve ADS speed but comes at a cost of increased flinch resistance.
Lastly, the 7.62 NATO Overpressured fire mod will improve the bullet velocity, making it much easier to hit moving targets at range.

Charlie IntelThe Veteran perk offers reduced flinch and extended breath-holding duration, which is crucial in Warzone as enemies would be busy fighting and gives you the headroom to plan your shots. It also makes you immune to Grenadier and Snapshots while making you resistant to Flash, Gas, Movement, and Shock negative effects.
Cold-Blooded is a must for snipers. It makes you undetectable by AI targeting and thermal optics and makes you immune to Combat Scout, Scrambling, and EMP effects. Pair this with Ghost and you will remain undetected by enemy Radar Pings while moving. As a bonus, you will also remain undetected when an enemy uses a Heartbeat Sensor and Proxy Alarm.
For your Wildcard, Bandolier is recommended. It provides you with a Munitions Satchel while Semtex will deal quick splash damage. Use the Smoke Grenade as the tactical equipment to take cover while crossing open areas or when there’s a need to revive teammates.
How to unlock the LW3A1 Frostline
The LW3A1 Frostline comes unlocked by default, which is after reaching player level 4. This is right after you unlock custom loadouts and is also a great sniper to use when you’re yet to reach higher levels.
Best alternative weapon
The SVD is a great alternative to the LW3A1 Frostline. Here’s why:
Sure, the LW3A1 Frostline has better ADS time and bullet velocity, but the sheer fact of the SVD having a much higher fire rate alone makes it a better choice between the two snipers.
The swap speed is slightly better which means switching between primary and secondary weapons will be marginally faster. However, if you want, you may give the LR 7.62 a try too.
