Best Marksmen In MLBB

Best Marksmen In MLBB

Key Takeaways

  • A good marksman needs more than just high damage, they require skills like mobility and CC resistance.
  • Each marksman in Mobile Legends has unique qualities and drawbacks that must be considered for optimal performance.
  • Certain marksmen like Moskov and Beatrix stand out for their unique skills and abilities that can make them game-changers.

If there’s a role all about dealing damage in any MOBA, it would be the marksman, often also referred to as the Attack Damage Carry (ADC) of your team. These characters have the highest damage potential due to their superb scaling with items, making them the most important part of any team once the clock reaches the late game.

A good marksman needs to have a way to deal enough damage to wipe out the enemy team, sure, but it also needs other things to survive until they’re at a stage where they can hold their own. From long-ranged pokes to emergency escapes, as well as things that may help you position better, a good marksman is much more than a blind glass canon. Each with their own qualities and drawbacks, here are our best marksmen in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

8 Wanwan

Hop Around The Battlefield

Wanwan from Mobile Legends crouching while making an aggressive paw.

Wanwan used to be the single best marksman in the game due to her extreme outplay potential. She’s since been greatly nerfed but is still an amazing hero to play. She has the attack speed to exploit on-hit item effects like DHS, a purifying skill to guard against CC, and also the highest mobility of any hero in Mobile Legends.

She also has the single strongest Ultimate in the game, letting her become completely immune while raining down a barrage of attacks on enemies. While this skill is locked behind her passive, forcing you to target enemies from different directions before you can use it, it’s still an Ultimate that can win you games by itself if used at the right time.

7 Lesley

One Shot, One Kill

Lesley's Spectre skin holding her laser rifle with her mech wings resting in Mobile Legends.-1

Lesley is more of an assassin than a marksman. She wields a sniper rifle that deals true damage after her skill casts, or when her passive is up. She can go invisible, shoot you from a long distance, run away, and repeat if necessary. She’s one of the more annoying marksmen to deal with if she manages to get fed, but she can be countered early on.

You can use Lesley’s skill one immediately after hitting an enhanced passive attack to trigger it again, dealing two instances of true damage one after the other!

Lesley’s problem relies on her need for specific items. While dealing true damage is certainly an advantage, her damage is balanced around this to be weaker than other MM in the game. This makes her very weak early on when facing enemies that don’t have a lot of defenses. Lesley only starts shining after getting one or two of her core items, mainly Endless Battle, Blade of Despair, or Berserker’s Fury. She’s still a very strong marksman, but other alternatives just get their power spike much earlier, allowing them to snowball an enemy Lesley fairly easily.

6 Brody

Use Skillshots And Ability Damage

Brody from Mobile Legends with a frown on his face and his arm glowing.

Brody is fundamentally very similar to Wanwan. Both of them are extremely mobile and can move while using their normal attacks. Both of them also have first skills that are good for poking, and Ultimates that can turn the tides of any teamfight.

Where Wanwan is more of a glasscanon that builds attack speed, Brody is a more durable hybrid ADC who gets himself some defenses as well. Both of them need to stack up their passives in different ways for their Ultimates to work, but Brody has an easier time doing so. His damage might not be the same as other options, but he’s one of the safer marksmen to pilot, as well as one of the best ones in early to mid game!

5 Moskov

Shred And Pierce Through Enemies Late Game

Moskov from Mobile Legends pulling his spear away from chains while surrounded by ghostly husks.

There are certain heroes that absolutely dominate lower ranks, but quickly lose effectiveness as you go higher. Most glasscanons such as Layla and Miya fit into this category, having extremely high DPS potential, but little else to help them survive. Moskov fits the same archetype as Layla and Miya, but he has some tricks to make him function where the earlier two don’t.

Essentially, Moskov has a lot of dashes. His first skill is a dash that gives him attack speed and resets when he performs normal attacks, letting him reuse it repeatedly. Moskov also has an extremely long stun on his second skill, as well as a passive that lets him pierce through targets to deal damage to multiple enemies at once. Moskov is such an absurdly strong marksman in ML that no matter how good you’re winning, if an enemy Moskov reaches late game, the chances of you ending the game easily quickly turn to ashes.

4 Clint

One Shot Squishies From Out Of Range

Clint performing rock n roll with his guitar in front of his audience in Mobile Legends.

Most marksmen can erase your very existence the moment you get into their range. However, Clint can do this without ever being in range. He’s an artillery marksman that gains bonus range and damage after casting a skill. Where other marksmen build attack speed and shoot you repeatedly, a few bullets are usually enough for a fed Clint to kill you.

If the enemy has a lot of tanky heroes, Lesley or another marksman might be a better choice due to Clint lacking the same consistent DPS as other heroes.

Clint also synergizes extremely well with many of the strongest items in MLBB, such as Endless Battle and even Thunderbelt. He’s similar to Lesley in the sense that they’re both burst marksmen with high range. However, Clint has a much stronger early game, making him a more solid option in many teams.

3 Beatrix

Can Do Everything

Beatrix in her Stellar Brilliance skin glowing and rising into the air floating her guns in Mobile Legends.

There are on-hit marksmen that wither you down with their extremely fast attack speed, and there are burst artillery ones that can deal high amounts of damage in a single hit from a distance. There are also AOE marksmen like Ixia who specialize in dealing damage to multiple heroes at once. Beatrix is all of them in one singular hero.

Beatrix wields four different weapons, letting you hold two at a time. These can be switched on a very short cooldown, giving you unrivaled versatility. She can use her sniper to fulfill Lesley’s role, her dual pistols to fulfill Miya’s, and her rocket launcher to give Ixia’s Ultimate a run for her money. Beatrix can also use her shotgun to temporarily become a melee-ranged assassin, something no other marksmen in any MOBA can do.

2 Claude

Steal Enemy Movement Speed, Then Steal Their Lives

Claude and his monkey buddy Dexter overjoyed by finding a magical cube in Mobile Legends.

Claude was never a bad pick, but he always had some problems holding him back. From his reliance on Demon Hunter Sword as his first item making it difficult for him to counter-build early on to his mana problems forcing him to use the Basic emblem, he was always just a little shy of being one of the strongest marksmen in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

You can use Claude’s first skill on Jungle Monsters before joining a teamfight to stack up your attack speed.

However, ever since the removal of mana, he’s been dominating both in and out of lane. His passive lets him shred down squishy and tanky heroes alike, and he has one of the highest mobility skills of any marksman in the game. This, coupled with his Ultimate which makes it very easy to burst entire teams down without much risk at all, makes him an absolutely splendid marksman.

1 Ixia

Rain Down Sweet Triangular Death

Ixia overjoyed at finding a book with a tied up thief in front and Layla shooting a glass bottle from far away in Mobile Legends.

Ixia has everything a good marksman needs while also possessing the qualities of a burst mage. She might not have much mobility apart from a tiny speed boost when her skills hit, but her disruption CC effects and her general artillery style gameplay, as well as her absurd amount of lifesteal, all come together to make her a very good marksman.

All of this already makes her seem good, but the core of her kit is her Ultimate. This skill opens up a conical area, inside of which Ixia can perform long-ranged AOE attacks on all enemy units. This grants her superb area denial, AOE potential, as well as the ability to chase off and finish retreating enemies. If you’re confident enough in your positioning, Ixia is one of the greatest carries in MLBB.
