Asian Esports Games (AEG) 2024 cover



Asian Esports Games (AEG) 2024 will kick off on the 25th of November 2024. It will feature MOONTON’s popular MOBA title Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and two other games. Arena of Valor and eFootball will also kick off their respective events in Indoor Stadium Hua Mak, Bangkok, Thailand.

Mobile Legends will be the sole title to take place in the Women’s category, marking a significant scale-up for esports. The other two titles will feature Open Category players.

Asian Esports Games (AEG) 2024: Schedule and Format

The event is being organized by a joint effort from the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) and the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF). Besides, MOONTON will be a part of organizing the event. The AEG 2024 Mobile Legends will kick off on the 25th of November 2024 and will come to an end on the 27th of November.

On the other hand, the Arena of Valor event will kick off on the 28th of November and come to an end on the next day. The format is different for each game. MLBB will feature 20 teams while Arena of Valor will send 9. The format of the respective title is as follows.

Mobile Legends

There will be two stages namely the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The initial phase will have single round-robin matches in a BO1 format. All the participants will be divided into 4 groups of 5 teams each. The top two from each group will advance to the next stage.

The Playoffs will be a double-elimination. Except for the Grand Final which will take place in BO7, the rest of the matches will be BO3.

Arena of Valor

The Group stage will be BO2 and there will be three groups. The top 2 will advance to the Playoffs. It will take place in a double-elimination bracket where all the matches will be BO5.

It will kick off on the 30th of November and will end on the 1st of December 2024. The starting will be with the Group Stage. Then the Double Elimination phase will be held and the event will end with the Grand Finals.

There will be 23 teams, divided into 4 groups. The top 2 from each will advance to the next stage.

As mentioned before, Mobile Legends will feature 20 teams while Arena of Valor will showcase 9. The Mobile Legends teams are:

Prize Pool

The MLBB event in Asian Esports Games 2024 will allocate a total of $5,800 for the participants. The other two titles are still deciding the prize pool. The allocation for the Mobile Legends event in AEG 2024 is as follows:
