HoloCure is an incredibly fun roguelike indie game featuring VTubers from Hololive Production. The 0.7 update introduces a wealth of new content, including nine new playable characters, each with unique abilities and playstyles. This long-awaited patch adds the 3rd and 4th generations of Hololive talent to the game.




The 3rd generation, known as Fantasy, includes Usada Pekora, Houshou Marine, Shirogane Noel, and Shiranui Flare. The 4th generation, referred to as Force, features Kiryu Coco, Amane Kanata, Tokoyami Towa, Tsunomaki Watame, and Himemori Luna. Here’s a closer look at the weapons, skills, and specialties of the nine new characters in HoloCure.

Fantasy – Hololive 3rd Generation

Usada Pekora

Usada Pekora’s main weapon is the Rocket Launcher, which fires up to three large carrot missiles at max level, with its damage scaling based on every 100 HoloCoins in the player’s possession. Her Special Attack, 777, activates a slot machine that deals damage to all targets on the screen. If 777 rolls a Jackpot, all enemies are instantly defeated and converted into HoloCoins.

Luck and HoloCoins are central to Pekora’s kit, especially with her three unique skills: Gambler, Pyromaniac, and Lucky Bunny. Collecting HoloCoins boosts not only her damage, ATK, and Crit but also provides healing. Additionally, Pekora’s unique Luck stat enhances the proc chances of her skills and increases item drop rates.

Main Weapon (Max Level)

Rocket Launch

Fire 3 missiles. Damage is increased by 1% For every 100 HoloCoins, up to a limit of 400%.

Special Attack

777 (90 sec cooldown)

Roll Slots! Deal 1000% damage to all targets. If a Jackpot is rolled all targets are instantly defeated and turn into HoloCoins.

Skills (Max Level)

Gambler

Every 15 seconds, roll a slot. If successful scatter HoloCoins. When Picking up HoloCoins, heal 1 HP and gain a stacking buff that increases ATK by 4% and Crit by 2% (max 10 stacks) for 10s.

Pyromanic

When defeating a target, there is a 5% chance it will trigger an explosion that deals 250% damage.

Lucky Bunny

All weapon and skills have a 15% chance to gain 30.00% size. Gain stacks of Luck that is equal to the half of current Crit (max 30). Luck increases the success chance of skills and drop rates.


Houshou Marine

Houshou Marine’s main weapon is the Cutlass & Pistol, which combines melee and ranged damage. Despite its dual nature, the weapon is classified as melee, and the bullets fired are not player-controllable. Upon leveling up, the Cutlass transforms into a giant anchor, slashing both forward and backward. Marine’s Special Attack, Miracle Senchou Cannon, continuously fires large cannonballs in the targeted direction, dealing explosive damage.

Marine’s skills, Lust and Dangerous Marine Smell, thrive on nearby enemies, offering healing, damage, and debuffs. Her Pirate Captain skill increases Crit chance when collecting HoloCoins and provides a chance for additional HoloCoins to drop.


Main Weapon (Max Level)

Cutlass & Pistol

Pistol shoots 4 times. Cutlass becomes a “Ketsu Anchor”. On a critical hit, there is a chance to hit HoloCoins out of targets.

Special Attack

Miracle Senchou Cannon (65 sec cooldown)

Continuously Shoots large cannonballs that explode into hearts.

Skills (Max Level)

Lust

Gain a Lust Gauge. The gauge increases slowly near enemies, or when hit. At max gauge, Marine reaches her climax, healing 30% HP and deals 500% damage to all nearby targets.

Dangerous Marine Smell

If a target is within 120px for more than 1 seconds, they gain a debuff that reduces DEF and SPD by 20%. After 3 seconds, target takes 150% damage per second.

Pirate Captain

When collecting HoloCoins, increase Crit by 2% for 5 seconds, up to 20%. Targets hit by skills has a 20% chance to drop additional HoloCoins

Shirogane Noel

Shirogane Noel is a tanky character who scales with Max HP, gaining bonuses to weapon size, damage, and durability. Her main weapon, the Holy Mace, increases in size for every 5 Max HP at max level and summons a holy cross with each swing. Noel’s Special Attack, Knight Cup, grants her 10 seconds of invulnerability while significantly increasing the size of all her weapons.


Her Muscle skill provides periodic damage reduction every 30 seconds, with additional reduction based on weapon size bonuses from items. Meanwhile, her Gyudon skill boosts her Max HP every 30 seconds and further increases her attack power based on her Max HP.

Main Weapon (Max Level)

Holy Mace

Swings a heavy mace in front. Summon a Holy Cross. The attack size is increased by 1% for every 5 Max HP, up to 100%.

Special Attack

Knight Cup (90 sec cooldown)

Become invulnerable for 10 seconds. During this time, All weapon size is increased by 25%, and targets at point-blank range will receive 300% damage and be knocked back.

Skills (Max Level)

Muscle

Every 30 seconds, gain Muscle (10s) that reduces damage taken by 20%. Weapon size bonuses from items further reduces damage via Muscle, up to a total limit of 60%.

Knight’s Dance

Gain Dance Gauge that fills when moving or taking damage. When full, Noel creates a Holy Aura dealing 150% damage for 10 seconds. Damage and size of the aura increases by 3% for every 10 Max HP.

Gyudon

Every 30 seconds, gain +3 Max HP permanently. Heal 15% HP. For each 20 of Noel’s total Max HP, also gain 3% attack (15s).


Shiranui Flare

Shiranui Flare is a ranged character who excels with multi-shot weapons, thanks to her Elf Song skill, which increases the number of projectiles fired. Her main weapon, the Splash Gun, fires up to 7 Splash Shots in quick succession at max level, leaving damaging puddles upon impact. Her Special Attack, Flare Blasters, continuously fires three large laser beams at enemy targets for a few seconds.

Flare’s FireMagic skill launches 6 fireballs every 10 seconds, with the number of fireballs further boosted by her Elf Song skill. Her third skill, Shiranui Construction, provides a powerful defensive option, blocking up to 6 attacks at max level and granting 15% haste.


Main Weapon (Max Level)

Splash Gun

Increase splash shots by 3, and greatly reduce time between shots.

Special Attack

Flare Blasters (80 sec cooldown)

Summons a number of Flare Blasters that shoot wide beams at targets to deal 300% damage.

Skills (Max Level)

FireMagic

Every 10 seconds, cast 6 fireballs that deal 250% skill damage.Has 30% chance to cause Burn, which slowly deals damage.

Elf Song

After 5 targets are defeated by a Skill or Special, gain a buff that increases Multi-Shot weapon and Fire Magic projectiles by 3 for 10 seconds.

Shiranui Construction

Targets may drop Building Blocks. At 20 Building Blocks, deploy a wall that blocks up to 6 attacks. While the wall is active, gain 15% Haste.

Kiryu Coco

The beloved Kiryu Coco returns to Hololive as a playable character, featuring a powerful Special Attack that transforms her into a fire-breathing dragon, rendering her invulnerable to damage. Her unique Dragon Heat Action skill allows her to consume her Special gauge at 50% or 75% instead of waiting for it to fully charge, each level unleashing a different ability. At 50%, Coco fires a barrage of bullets in a straight line, while at 75%, she launches a rocket that deals massive area damage.

Coco’s Dragon of Hololive skill adds a fun twist, causing defeated fans to occasionally drop random objects—such as bicycles and toilets—that Coco can pick up and throw for large amounts of damage. Additionally, her GMMF skill grants lifesteal from all Asacoco weapons while also negating their negative effects.

Dragon Katana

Targets hit may become marked, and takes 30% more damage from skill and special attacks.

Special Attack

True Dragon Form (80 sec cooldown)

Coco transforms into her true dragon form for 8 seconds. In this form, Coco is invulnerable and breathes fire to deal damage.

Skills (Max Level)

Dragon of Hololive

Defeating targets may drop random objects. Walking to objects will automatically pick them up, and Coco throws the objects to deal 150%, 300% or 450% skill damage when near a target.

Dragon Heat Action

The special attack action can execute other attacks when the special gauge is at 50% and 75%, dealing 2x their strength as Skill Damage.

GMMF

If a target take damage within the first 5 seconds after spawning, they take 1.50x damage. All Asacoco weapons have a 20% chance to lifesteal 5% HP. Asacoco items’ negative effects are negated.

Amane Kanata

Amane Kanata excels at boss-killing thanks to her Angelic & Gorillic Power skill, which provides up to a 20% attack boost, and her frequent stuns from the 50kg Grip skill. Her kit focuses on generating frequent hit counts, easily achieved through her main weapon, the Angel Shuriken, and her skill, Voice of Heaven.


Kanata also boasts excellent survivability. Her Special Attack, Celestial Song, provides both healing and stuns, while Angelic & Gorillic Power also adds additional healing when facing more durable targets. Furthermore, Voice of Heaven grants up to a 40% SPD increase, allowing Kanata to outmaneuver many enemies with ease.

Main Weapon (Max Level)

Angel Shuriken

Increase the frequency of hits per Shuriken, but reduce damage slightly per hit.

Special Attack

Celestial Song (75 sec cooldown)

Slowly heal 10% HP per second, while all targets within the area take damage over 10 seconds with a 20% chance to stun.

Skills (Max Level)

50kg Grip

Every 7 seconds, Kanata grabs nearby targets, dealing 100% damage and stuns targets in place for 2 seconds.

Voice of Heaven

When Kanata lands 50 hits, gain a buff for 10 seconds that grants 40% SPD and allows all attacks to have a 30% chance to hit a second time.

Angelic & Gorillic Power

If a target takes more than 15 hits from any attacks, increase natural regeneration healing by 10 HP and increase attack by 20% for 10 seconds.


Tokoyami Towa

Tokoyami Towa is a incredibly strong character who excels with projectile-based attacks. Her kit centers around the Ammo dropped frequently by her Devil’s Familiar skill. Ammo not only boosts the attacks of her main weapon, the Devil Assault Rifle, but also powers her Special Attack, TMDevil Machine Gun. Activating TMDevil Machine Gun grants 100 Ammo and equips Towa with a heavy machine gun that can be fired continuously by holding the Special Attack button.

Towa’s Special Attack has no set duration and only ends when her Ammo count drops to zero. This allows players to prolong the ability by collecting Ammo from Devil’s Familiar. However, managing Ammo is crucial, as her Devil Assault Rifle also consumes Ammo continuously, creating a fun and dynamic challenge to maintain her Special Attack.


Main Weapon (Max Level)

Devil Assault Rifle

Increase the number of shots by 2. There is a 5% chance to deal Headshot, which deals 4x damage.

Special Attack

TMDevil Machine Gun (70 sec cooldown)

Towa equips a heavy machine gun and gain 100 Ammo. Hold down the Special Attack button to continuously fire until Ammo runs out.

Skills (Max Level)

Apex Shooter

All projectile attacks deal 1.30x extra damage. Projectile attacks may reduce the target’s SPD by 2% (their SPD cannot be less than 50%). Debuff lasts 10 seconds.

Mad Devilish

While targets are within 70px, Towa gains devil energy. At 100 devil energy, trigger an attack that deals 200% skill damage and large knockback.

Devil’s Familiar

Summons Devil Familiar Bibi. Bibi drops Ammo, which boosts the damage of Towa’s main weapon and special attack by 1.2x. Bibi also fires shots that deal 1.75% skill damage.

Tsunomaki Watame

Tsunomaki Watame is a unique character whose damage output scales with the amount of healing she receives. Her two skills, Have A Nice Day and Borderline Nothing Wrong, work together to allow Watame to share the healing she receives with nearby targets while simultaneously debuffing them to take damage from healing effects. Additionally, her Watame Night Fever!! skill increases her healing output based on her level and grants a significant 25% HP heal every 15 seconds.

Watame’s main weapon, Tsunomaki Harp, requires no aiming, as it passively deals damage to nearby enemies. Her Special Attack, Watame Beam, fires a massive laser in front of her, accompanied by several smaller lasers shooting in multiple directions.

Tsunomaki Harp

Fire a piercing drill towards a random target that deals 100% weapon damage.

Special Attack

Watame Beam (75 sec cooldown)

Fires multiple beams in all directions to deal rapid damage.

Skills (Max Level)

Have A Nice Day

175% of any healing is shared to all nearby targets. Any heal amount is stored to targets, and if the total amount is greater than their current HP, the target is ‘saved’.

Watame Night Fever!!

All healing is increased by 10% per character level. Every 15 seconds, heal 25% HP, and increase SPD by 60% for 10 seconds.

Borderling Nothing Wrong

All nearby targets receive a debuff where they take damage equal to 95% of any healing received by that target. Increase Haste by 10%.


Himemori Luna

Himemori Luna‘s kit revolves around maintaining her Baby Princess buff and triggering additional damage through her stuns. Every time Luna stands still for 1 second, she gains 10 stacks of an ATK and SPD buff, which decreases by one stack for each second she spends moving. While maintaining this may seem challenging, it’s relatively easy to refresh, especially since she automatically gains 10 stacks every 30 seconds, regardless of movement.

Luna’s main weapon, Candy Sword, and her skill, Cute Is Justice, provide frequent stuns to her targets and those nearby. These stuns are crucial for triggering her Naaaaaaaaaa skill, which has a high chance of dealing a large burst of damage against stunned targets.


Main Weapon (Max Level)

Candy Sword

Extends the slash with a lunar crescent, which has a 30% chance to destroy projectiles and a 10% chance to stun for 1 second.

Special Attack

Electone Concert (65 sec cooldown)

Create a concert of music notes around Luna, dealing constant damage. All targets reduce SPD by half.

Skills (Max Level)

Cute Is Justice

When a target is near Luna for 2 seconds, create an attack of 200% skill damage that has 20% chance to stun for 3 seconds. Chance increases to 50% the lower their HP.

Naaaaaaaaaa

Haste +20%. If any weapon attack hits a stunned target, there is a 50% chance to create a crescent moon, dealing 300% damage.

Baby Princess

If not moving for 1 second, gain 10 stacks of Baby Princess, which increases ATK by 7% and SPD by 5% per stack. If moving, lose 1 stack per sec. Also gain 10 stacks every 30 seconds regardless of moving.
